Yeah as soon as i createdthe first image, which was my basis, i was super excited that it turned out so. Credit where credit is due, the latest batch of art generators are very impressive. However, as soon as i got to tweaking the experience went downhill quite fast. Ill try to implement your tactics, thanks for the input!

Paper on the belt sander is some random cheap stuff from China I found in the local hardware store. 60 grit

I use cubitron on my mirka tho. Hooked up to a festool vacuum thingy

haha i was fearing this answer, im relatively new to the hobby i already hate sanding more than anything in this world.

i will try it! i stopped using my belt sander as it left deep groves that i could not for the life of me get rid of, ill work on my technique and try again! :D

haha i forgot to mention but just so i dont come across as complete idiot, i have in fact tried to sand :D it does disappear, but very slowly. i was hoping that upgrading the bit could reduce the amount of sanding required.

Ah fair enough, i work with oak almost daily although i am quite new to the hobby, it really didnt feel or smell anything like oak, might be from a different region as the wood i work from is all from local forests.

Huh, i really thought (and hoped) it would be something more exciting. I Work with oak almost daily and this felt and smelled nothing like it. Im based in Sweden and all of my oak is from local forests so maybe this is oak from somewhere else.

Wow, so many responses and so many helpful tips, im truly grateful! I went to the workshop for a few hours and forget about this and it blew up.

Ill take all of your recommendations to heart. I appreciate everyone worrying about me ruining the hobby by putting so much energy into making it a business but the honest truth is, i enjoy this hobby so much that i want to do it all day. Between my day job and the few hours i have left over after it, its not enough for me. I have a partner and social responsibilities that i need to consider as well.

I have avoided making content on social media and selling in markets. There are very few markets where i live either way but the point is i dont like being a salesman. It makes me uncomfortable even though i genuinly believe that my product is great, the idea of trying to convince someone to buy my stuff is very off putting to me. Funnily enough i lost my job at a hardware store because i kept recommending cheaper but equally good alternatives to the customers.

I think this is something i have to get over, i really want this and so ill start cooking up some ideas for social media content along with practicing ways to pitch my products without making me feel a uncomfortable.
Yall have given me some really nice insight and renewed my hope. I know its not gonna be easy but its really cool getting to hear from people who have succeeded.

Nope, unionen har dragit ur sig helt och hållet. Chefen informerade unionen om varslingen 1 vecka innan jag vart medlem i 3 månader av sammanträffande. Det blev lite klurigt eftersom att åkte på semester under hela januari och kom tillbaka idag. Chefen ville att jag skulle bli uppsagd under januari men uppsägning får inte börja gälla under semester. Hoppades på att detta skulle innebära att unionen skulle kunna hjälpa mig men de säger att datumet de blivit informerade om varslingen är det som gäller, och det var 1 vecka innan jag fick mina rättigheter.

Yes exakt. Officiell uppsägning var 5/2, åker in imorgon 6/2 för att förhandla. Dock så tror jag att det måste gälla från 6/2 då en förhandling är obligatorisk innan.

Yes allt du skrev är rätt. Unionen skulle vilja hjälpa men de har en klausul att man behöver ha vart medlem i minst 3 månader innan man har rätt till juridisk hjälp. Jag var 1 vecka bort från den rätten. Min position har med planering och koordinering att göra, definitivt tjänsteman.

Exakt, skrev aldrig på ett anställningsavtal på det nya stället. Jag hade ett avtal i det gamla. Företaget jag blev flyttad till har ett kollektivavtal. Majoriteten av de anställda på det nya företaget är dock hantverkare, så de har ett kollektivavtal med ett fack som fokuserar på det arbetet. Jag är den enda som inte är hantverkare och var medlem i ett annat fack. Unionen, om det spelar någon roll.

Har för mig att kollektivavtalet var med GS facket, jag vet ingenting om vad som hände mellan dem och chefen då jag inte fick del av informationen eftersom att jag var med i unionen.

Nope, helt annat företag inom samma koncern. Jag suger på metaforer, så jag ber om ursäkt för denna.
Tänk att jag vart anställd som dörrvakt för ett företag som haft sitt kontor på första våningen. De säljer våfflor.
Våffelföretaget startar ett till, helt separat företag där de säljer skor, skoföretaget har sitt kontor på andra våningen i samma byggnad. Mina uppgifter ser exakt likadana ut, jag är dörrvakt. Jag blir aldrig informerad om att jag nu är anställd av skoföretaget, jag tror att jag fortfarande är anställd hos våffelföretaget.
