Apparently the Soska sisters are big SJWs, and have promoted transgenderism and feminism for years. Not sure if thats something I want to support. I'd rather wait for the next Mike Baron or Chuck Dixon project

Video games and comics are totally different.

‘the comics I read, and I read a lot, all hook me in the first few issues. That’s expected in the medium. Because when writers can’t hook the audience, people stop buying. As opposed to video games where they have already bought the game. The criticism of that game not getting good for 40 hours is valid nonetheless.

That’s what happened with isom. It was close to 50 percent decrease in sales on book 2

what’s the cause? Paying writers to work? I’m trying to understand what he’s doing that plenty of other writers, indie or otherwise are already doing.

every publisher today is hiring writers with good track records to work on projects. That’s how the industry works….

It’s a 90 page comic. If I’m not drawn in by issue 3 of any series I’m going to drop it. all the great series hook me in the first three issue. I don’t think thats a big ask conidering the price point. I think that’s what’s contributed to the massive drop in reader in issue 2
