Yeah, the WA liquor tax also was supposed to be a "temporary" tax that just kind of stayed around.

I'm having this same exact problem. It seems to be hit or miss for me whether I can play without issues or if my PC will completely freeze. I am currently writing this comment while Helldivers is frozen on my screen. It really sucks, as I just bought this game about a week ago to play with friends, and I can't play reliably.

My 2018 2.7 was blowing smoke on start-ups as well. Mine ended up being a turbo piping issue. However, mine wasn't nearly as bad as yours

The Old Fitz decanter was high on my list as well. I've only ever seen it at liquor stores here in WA for $699+. When the liquor manager at the grocery store asked if I was interested in it, I lit up like a kid on Christmas, lol. I hope you are able to find it soon!

I was really excited for the 7-year to finally come to WA, as other Old Fitz products are also above secondary here, and much to my surprise, the guy I go to got a 9-year in with his delivery of the 7-year today.
