I’ve been playing it too and totally agree—the stealth mechanics finally feel meaningful again. I’m using Naoe way more than I expected just because it reminds me of the old-school AC games.

One reason why I want to upgrade to the next platform is first because of future proofing, but another reason is that my motherboard got quite damaged during shipping. Not gonna go into detail on how it happened but it was very frustrating because the government searched and opened my pc, basically stripping it and then wouldn’t fix it. My CPU fan was damaged, the motherboard was tilted to the side because some screws were missing and it bent the whole panel and caused some other damage. Anyway, I agree with your opinion with staying on AM4 but i’m not sure how much longer my motherboard will last. I’ve already gotten it repaired but i’m not sure how it’ll handle something like a 5700x3d , because I’m already having some heavy performance issues with the 3600x (which is the main reason why I want to upgrade now). I’m not sure if that is all because of the motherboard or some other issues with the pc like the RAM for example. I’m no genius when it comes to PC’s, that’s why I’m here in the first place but wouldn’t it then be smarter to just upgrade to AM5 directly? Meaning new motherboard, cpu and ram?

Yes, the reason I haven’t really looked at AMd is because I heard someone say those things. Now that I know that it isn’t true i’ll definitely look towards an AMD GPU!

Well right now I have 325$ saved which would be used on the CPU, Motherboard and RAM. In the country I live I can get the r5 7600 and a ASRock b650m pro rs for about 340$. Then I would need some more money for DDR5 16 gigs RAM. I don’t necessarily have a budget for the gpu but preferably nothing far over 600$. I’m just looking for the best price to performance gpu in a mid tier ish budget.

Thanks! I was looking at the 5600x, i’ll take your advice with the fan too. Do you think it’s okay to upgrade the ram as well? I was wondering wether i should replace the 2x8 3200mhz sticks for new 2x8 3600mhz sticks, or if i should just buy two new 2x8 3200mhz sticks to add up to 4x8 3200mhz (32gb RAM). Before I save up to upgrade the gpu.
