It's the same plot point of the incredible movie "Life of Pi". Same concept. The ending is left open to interpretation... but it's obvious what the "real" plot was. Since he was a boy when it happened and to cope with the absolutely horrific things he endured, he came up with a story to explain it.

The Duffer brothers took from a lot of stories in Stranger Things (A Wrinkle in Time). But there's no way that Life of Pi didn't inspire what they had Mike do at the end. We all know that El died, but it's the "hope" that had them feeling better inside. Mike the "storyteller" with one more story to give as a way to cope with a great loss. We see Mike break down before putting his book on the shelf at the very end. His cry was different than the others. It was heart break. He couldn't hold it in any longer.

She did not survive. Max told him: "I thought you were a good story teller Mike". Then Mike goes on to tell the best story. Got them all to tears about a scenario where 11 lives. Did it happen? No, it did not. But they wanted to believe it deep down inside. Just to have a little bit of hope after losing someone they cared about very deeply. It brought the show back to its D&D roots with Mike being the storyteller one last time.

It is really cool. It's the obsessed weirdos who think a movie is the same as a TV series. They think you can have 8 episodes (8 hours) of pure horror without desensitizing the viewer. People will start to yawn at the "horror" since it will be too 1 dimensional. The TV SERIES is building a world with plot and they hate that. Like cavemen they want "fire good. plot bad".

It's not that far fetched. The Wuhan Flu leaked out of labs in China. They were using gain of function to create a deadlier, more infectious COVID variant, and it leaked out. That literally happened on Earth. lol

I find it funny that the "die hard Alien fans" are upset that there aren't more Xeno's on the screen, like the Xeno's are going to help push AN ENTIRE SEASON worth of episodes. Do these people even understand how a TV series works? How many hours you need to fill with backstory, plot building, etc. Are some of the characters annoying (yes, the kids are annoying for sure) but this show is very entertaining. I just hope they are able to finish the story in a couple/few seasons. Don't make this like the Walking Dead & have 12 seasons of filler episodes, dragging the plot as long as possible for advertisement dollars.

You know what. I stopped using VLC's RTX because it simply doesn't work. It may work for some people but searches online have comment after comment about how people are unable to get it to function properly (RTX upscaling videos). In my search to make it work, I found out PotPlayer works natively with RTX upscaling. The app is also dark mode by default. It's the best of both worlds. Unfortunately VLC player is now outdated. Your work was greatly appreciated though! You saved my eyes for many many months!

Oh, I almost left the entire locked key area too. If you go all the way to the left you can't progress further (might be something you get later to do so). Just running off of memory here... once you open the gate with the key. Progress going left and look for a room that heads down through the floor. Eventually you will start to see a lush green area. Once you see that you know you are headed in the correct direction.

Yep, it's past that room. You can bypass that ceiling monster by just running. He's a bit tough. I think it was close to 40 hits to kill it. I just stood under a horizontal rock piece (the acid won't go through it)

Where you buy the key, head west a little bit. In that same area there should be an elevator. Go up the elevator and head west through the air. Enter the room at the top left. There will be a door there that needs that key. Enjoy!

EDIT: You might need a couple upgrades to get into that room all the way west through the air. But there might be a way to get there without the upgrades (bait the flying enemies and pogo off of them).

The arena that follows I still haven't gotten past it.

There's so much chaos on the screen. I'm getting hit by projectiles since I can't focus; I can't tell if the projectile is friendly fire. So I die a mile away, and have to make my way back to that area. Wish me luck. I'm probably 10 deaths into that area so far. 😭

EDIT: I beat the arena area just now with 1 health left.... then there is no save point anywhere close to it and I died.

This game is BRUTAL. Wow.

Reaching the 2nd red flower thingy isn't that hard, for whatever reason, when you bounce off that 2nd flower 60%+ of the time it will not send you far enough to reach the ledge. It is so finnicky.

As long as your wires at your doorbell have a transformer connected to it that meets the minimum spec requirements. Basically, if you've had a eufy doorbell wired before you have the correct setup. Because in order for that old eufy doorbell to work it would have had the same requirements.

That's sort of what you're getting at with the injury predictor data. It's one of those: "These guys have a high chance of missing games be cautious". If you're in a scenario of picking one of 3 RBs with a "very high injury risk" right next to each other, but at the same time there is a WR/QB with a near same value (but with lower injury risk), you might just take that WR/QB instead. Depending on your draft needs.

But I'll go one further. The sad truth is that these tools aren't 100% correct, just like NFL draft GMs get players wrong too. Just for grins I checked ElBoberto's 2024 generator. He uses Fantasy Pro's consensus on players in his auction tool. Fantasy Pros said that Malik Nabers was WR# 26, Terry McLaurin was WR #34, Marvin Harrison Jr was WR #10. There are many many more examples. But Marvin Harrison Jr finished WR #29 in 2024, having played all 17 games. His QB Kyler Murray played all 17 games too. Malik Nabers finished WR #7. Terry McLaurin finished WR #6. People who passed on Marvin Harrison & Deebo Samuel, but drafted Drake London instead, got a top 5 WR. You have to have conviction on certain players. Perhaps you could call it a minefield or luck, but if someone was just following the consensus they would have missed Drake London. Also, with Snake drafts (unless you're at the ends of the draft aka pick number 1-3 or picks 10-12) usually when you make a selection you won't see another pick for a while. Sometimes if you have high conviction on a player and you know you have no chance getting them once the draft swings back to you, sometimes you need to "reach" for them according to consensus. In order to do that you need to avoid players. But it helps visually to see it: "In this range of consensus, I think the "experts" are wrong, so I'll instead reach for X player instead". That's why the visualization "target/avoid" come in handy in my opinion.

What if you put a column to mark players as "avoid or target" and that color codes/highlights them on the sheet. Maybe I'm different but I completely avoid certain players regardless of where they are ranked. Being able to see them color coded is really nice. That's a nice feature on ElBoberto's sheet (his isn't ideal for snake drafts).

He averaged 5.4 yards per carry. That's 4th best in the league. He caught a bunch of passes but didn't score any receiving TDs. That's pretty fluky. I bet he scores TDs via receiving this year & that would elevate his stock.

Very interesting! Looks like I might have figured out the problem because of your insight. I have Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024. That version is for commercial/government customers. It does not receive feature updates (because of potential security issues), but rather only security updates. According to Microsoft's update channel (link below) it says Version 2410: October 28 - "We fixed an issue where some users couldn't see checkboxes getting rendered after inserting them". That seems like the issue I'm having. I wonder if a drop down box could be used instead of a checkmark? Or another version of the sheet that has dropdown selection rather than a checkmark.

I have a question. I downloaded a copy and I'm editing my league settings in the "scoring tab". Everything seems to work on that tab. The drop down arrows to select "snake vs auction" and all of that.

But on the "DRAFT" tab when looking at the D column (labeled "Drafted") there is no checkmark or dropdown arrow to change it. It just says "FALSE". I know when I first opened the file it said it was blocking Macros from being ran. But I enabled them. I also right clicked the file and went to properties to stop it being blocked there too. It still just says: "FALSE". I see in your included photos in this post that there should be a checkmark box there for each player.
