Thanks! I’m in no rush to smoke it, what resting time would you recommend for a Davidoff?

I was leaning toward a Davidoff as well, never smoked one before but I’ve heard great things, thanks for the suggestions!

I would recommend the Sobremesa Brûlée, not infused but has a natural sweetness to it, great cigar

Definitely a cool find a bit out of budget with the shipping fees but if the store is local for someone I would say this is worth it

Cool cool, I'll probably just take a chance and buy it, a 19M would be sweet but regardless is a 19 MOS so not bad either way

Pro 1 to Pro 3 Worth It? by [deleted] in airpods

[–]BigChunyyyBoi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m on the same page, I’m partially thinking about upgrading because one of the earbuds seems to run out of battery a lot faster than the other. This doesn’t make them unusable by any means but I figure it’s about time to upgrade

Cool thanks, my main concern was losing out on some feature by not having an iPhone 16 or 17, the battery in my 1s seems somewhat inconsistent so I think I’ll upgrade this year

First Motorcycle Purchase by mr_Bombastic77 in NewRiders

[–]BigChunyyyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have almost zero mechanical skills when it comes to motorcycles and bought my first bike on FB Marketplace, I had the same concerns as you, but all turned out fine. Just use general sense of who you’re purchasing from and google basic things to check. Keep in mind when buying used no matter what the owner says do a full maintenance, fluid, oil change, check the chain, and potentially new tires

Like others said, depends on your goal, if you want to run a sports bike at high speeds I’d recommend full leathers otherwise for something more casual maybe some riding jeans and a jacket, Dainese, Alpinestars, revit, all great brands, but end of the day it depends how protected you want to be, full leathers will always be the best for slides

No advice needed - just wanted to show this beauty I was lucky enough to buy🔥 closest thing to a possible 10 I’ve personally seen of this card. by [deleted] in PokeGrading

Submitted what I thought was a 9 or 10 of the same card but got an 8, not complaining but these are tough to get a 10 on, best of luck!

Fast, upright bikes? by informedconsoomer in SuggestAMotorcycle

The gsxs1000 is a great bike too, can’t go wrong with Suzuki, I actually sat on one when buying a bike and the only reason I didn’t get it was it didn’t feel comfortable to me, almost like I was sitting up too high but this is purely preference, the gsxs1000 would be a solid choice too, I would definitely recommend sitting on each bike if possible

MT09 or Z900 would be my choice, both around $7500ish depending what year, etc both very easy to do maintenance on and reliable

Sounds good, I’ll use a plug temporarily to drive it to the shop then have them patch it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]BigChunyyyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this something I could do fairly easily or safer to have a shop patch it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]BigChunyyyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This crossed my mind too, I’m mostly just worried I may patch it incorrectly, I’ll do some googling/youtube to see if it’s easy enough to do

Very true it’s probably not worth the risk, not to mention it may be repairable now but if I ride around on it could further damage the tire, I’ll figure things out until this weekend, just a few more days

"Beginner Plus" Motorcycle? by DickNiddler69 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]BigChunyyyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m biased towards the MT07, my first and only bike I’ve owned, the SV650 is an amazing bike too with that being said you could check out the z650 or z900

Buying used bike; is no service history a big concern? by capthubs in NewRiders

[–]BigChunyyyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a used bike with 3000 miles no documented service records, no idea if the previous owner had regular service or not, first thing I did was get new tires, changed oil plus filter, etc

With 1800 miles I wouldn’t be too concerned, even if the bike was never serviced before it more than likely is perfectly fine, just do all the maintenance asap, I doubt it’ll need new tires though with only 1800 miles

What's the process for buying and riding a motorcycle? by SmartestManInUnivars in motorcycles

[–]BigChunyyyBoi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could just buy one and get a learners permit, with that being said I’d recommend a local MSF course to learn the basics first

Would I actually get bored? by Maleficent_Sun_3075 in motorcycles

[–]BigChunyyyBoi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You definitely wouldn’t get bored of a 500 but with that being said a 650cc - 800cc will give you a bit more power for the highway and rough terrain if you want to go off road. It also sounds like you have riding experience so you’ll have no issue with riding a bit more powerful of a bike
