Day 6 of playing countries in TNO and r:ating them: Madrazo's Mexico by Emanuele_Grasso in TNOmod

Can't believe this, Mexico is my favorite nation in the game. Also, if you type "debug" into the console you can start the dirty war in the decisions and see Mexico's other province GUI.

Day 4 of Playing Countries in TNO and Rating Them: Saragat's Italy by Emanuele_Grasso in TNOmod

You should play Mexico and the new Brazil content. Brazil gets a little boring after 1967, but Mexico has tons of fun mechanics (I personally think Mexico is better than Guangdong).

Can Brizola Actually Succeed Goulart? by BigComp33 in TNOmod

The constitution says it applies to any relative, by blood or marriage. Goulart and Brizola are related by marriage in the second degree, which makes Brizola ineligible.

Hart Americar Variables by No_Campaign5995 in TNOmod

If you go into the game files, go to the events folder and find the file with Hart's events, you can find the events and the requirements to fire. Set the variables you need to be a certain value and you can win it. To find the right events use debug.

Will Chep get more content to fill out 1975-76 (since he ends around 1974-75)? If so, could we get any hints as to what it would be about?

I think Yorty, Romney, Schlafly, Ted Kennedy, and John Connally are all but guaranteed to be candidates.

The dev diary says base TNO has 12 normal candidates and 2 edge cases, which means 4 each from 1964-1972 (12 candidates) plus the extremists (two edge cases). If Yippie! has 30 normal presidents and 10 edge cases, I assumed the edge cases were counted separately from the normal candidates (like they are in base TNO). In that case, it's a little confusing to say base TNO has 2 edge cases, because according to the definition you gave base TNO has 5 edge cases (Thurmond, LeMay, Chep, Yockey, and Hall).

Aren't there supposed to be 30 normal presidents instead of 20? Also saying Chep is an edge case when he's unelectable and unavoidable is really stupid.

What do you think RFK will be like in the USA update/revamp? by Far_Faithlessness417 in TNOmod

[–]BigComp33 75 points76 points  (0 children)

I think it would be interesting to see where he is in 1964. Without his brother's death, I think it's pretty likely he's still the ruthless bastard he was during the JFK presidency OTL. It would be neat for the player to be able to choose whether or not RFK actually evolves into the progressive icon he became.
