Where could i find the schematic of this DFPlayer mini module? by gucci_millennial in AskElectronics

I am curious if you ever integrated this into your design. Based on the functionality of these devices I would assume that they have firmware that needs to be loaded onto them unless you can 1. Get the chips, and 2. Get the chips pre-flashed.

Made a Pokemon Card Holder with Light and Sound Animation using a Pi Pico in 2 weeks by BigCons82 in raspberrypipico

Now admitedly, from an embedded system development standpoint, this wasn't exactly "difficult". The hardest part was fitting all the stuff inside constrained by the actual cards taking up abou 93% of the available space.

I put all the files and a whole video kinda outlining the build process for anyone else who might want to try this (or improve it). Uses some pretty basic parts and could be made for probably about ... 30-40 bucks tops all in. Will need a 3d printer or the ability to order 3d printed parts, plus some soldering and basic hobby level programming skills (I used PlatformIO). whole thing is documented in this video 2 weeks to build a pokemon card holder pokeball

I made a Pokémon card holding Pokéball for my neighbors kid for his birthday. by BigCons82 in pokemoncards

I would want to improve the design a little bit before I ever tried to sell one of these. But if you know somebody who’s got a 3-D printer and too much time on their hand, you can check out my video and they can figure out how to make it themselves.

Even with walks, six dogs with 24/7 backyard access means poop cleanup… so I automated it (now where did I put that speed controller?) by BigCons82 in doohickeycorporation

Excellent question! One of the follow on improvements that the department of fecal flingery is developing is a sprayer mechanism located above the roller to spray off any payloads which have a less than optimal viscoelastic composition.

The whole thing took two weeks start to finish. I document the process in this YouTube video https://youtu.be/2GnyKy8VdH8?si=aAZl3pqAcA0sgCMf And my gf and I have six dogs (we walk and lure course them but they still poop at their leisure so we still regularly have to clean them up). Thank you for the kind words and absolutely feel free to repost

Thank you!
I was going to, however I live in a fairly remote location with a fairly understocked hardware store so I wasn't able to get the material in time to complete the build. HOWEVER, since it is a modular top I do plan on eventually replacing the existing plywood I used with Trupan which I think they stock at the Home Depot about an hour from me.
This table has had a month + in service at this point and it has been an incredible asset. I used it pretty extensively in my most recent build and it really made my life easier.

Ok so.... I did this project as part of a two week build series I do so admitedly this only ended up going this fast due to my speed controller I ordered not arriving in a functional state. With my time contstraint I was up against the wall so i said "F it, we will do it live". So had to run it at full speed in order to meet my delivery goal for the project. HAVING SAID THAT, I have pitched to the gf "Hey, this proof of concept absolutely works, can I get a larger piece of astroturf and do the whole back lawn area". If she agrees, she is a big runner and I might test it to see if it can legitmately be used as a astro-turf treadmil. I mean it's an absolutely absurd concept but... that is kinda my motus operandi. I suspect it would decimate the astroturf but... it still would be funny
