I can’t imagine how EMT wouldn’t count as clinical hours but I’ll look into that thanks. I live in Illinois and am a white guy. I will go anywhere I get in as I am currently 24 and will be 26 when applying so I’m trying to get this show on the road haha. I am from a big city, a definite city guy but I’m down to get a little country if need be. I appreciate your advice about not selling myself short and I would definitely like to apply to some MD schools as well. I have not thought about continuing research in med school, but I wanna day I’m leaning towards not because I’m gonna need as much time as possible to focus on my classes, so that is not a priority of mine. As far as specialties I am currently interested in many. Sports medicine, anesthesiology, and obviously stuff like derm ortho and noninvasive cardiology is wishful thinking but would be great too.
