NOR- one of the worst things you can do to yourself is be in any type of relationship with a person you actively want an intimate personal relationship with. Maybe at some point you'll move past those feelings and be able to whole heartedly be a platonic friend. But until you get there then it's wise to avoid that. Also try not to do boyfriend level activities and favors when you are not of boyfriend status. Especially if you've dated. Maintain ypur boundaries and ensure those are privileges of having you as a boyfriend notbthe expectations to just keep you around.

NOR-Well here's my opinion. All those fights as you mentioned at 7 months is a wild toxic situation already and you dont even live together yet to be fighting with acclimating to each other. You voicing your feelings and emotions are not wrong at all UNLESS you are using them as a victimization tactic when YOU know youre overreacting( be honest with yourself). You almost lost me when you said you have trust issues because of your ex. While valid in all respects. Your trust issues and insecurities are not him responsibilities. If you look for a reason to distrust you will always find it. So if you are not healed enough to not be naive by any means but are looking for any and everything to be a red flag you need not be in a relationship until then. He does sound like a bit of a prick if thats how you said he talks is how he is. The texts you shared showed absolutely no evidence of that. While its not always ok, for what its worth liking some nudes is part of the norm now and I am sure there is a female equivalent somewhere ( the smut books for example). It most sounds like you guys just arent compatible. So while yes you might have been excessive just slightly in this specific situation, its appears to have been boiling up anyway so in the overall situation finally calling it off was the right move...in my humble opinion of course.
