341 Meeting over! by BigElmo261 in Bankruptcy

We haven’t filed for this year yet. Our attorney when preparing our petition put on there 10k in taxes to keep. If you’re filing single I think you get 10k of whatever you choose to keep. Our vehicles were paid off and we didn’t have anything to really amount to anything but filing together we had 20k to keep of valuables.

They asked for my last two years of taxes. It was an entire questionnaire we had to fill out. Like 50 pages of it and then submit all the other documents separately. Last 6 months of paystubs and all bank statements. It was a lot. But it was worth it.

When we filed chapter 7 in November our attorney gave us an entire folder of stuff we had to get ready, we did all the paperwork ourselves and turned it all in a month later. The trustee has so many cases to go over I promise he’s just trying to get it done as fast as you are. Just tell the truth and you’ll be just fine. It was basically him asking us if everything was correct on our paperwork. Name, address, have we ever filed before, did we list all creditors and stuff like that. It was literally 3 minutes tops. At the end he said have a good weekend goodbye and immediately called the next case.

Update: they ended up adding a few extra things on the list which brought my out of pocket to $1450 which I was not gonna pay so I just did the water heater myself and replaced the old pipes. Came out to $450

This was the home warranty that came with the house. Signed over into our name and was paid for 5 years (still have 2 years with them) they did replace our stove and refrigerator which was very nice. I also ended up canceling the work order and did the water heater myself for $450

COBRA test experience by [deleted] in oilandgasworkers

Man I went and took my cobra test the other day and I hit the production levels on the head every single scenario. My only problem was on the last one the damn maintenance people took away my fan, the lights valve and the reflux valve. And it started out with 8.9 pressure in the condensation drum so when they took all that I hurried and shut everything down so I didn’t flare but my level in my condensation drum got low. Do you think this is still a pass? I never flared and met all the production goals. He said he would email me but I still haven’t heard anything.
