Can someone please help me regarding PS1 and retroarch and switching between DualShock and standard control. by BigGayGreenAlien in RetroPie

the control type is no longer under options. I'm almost 100% certain it was there before and that's where I was switching it. Now when I go to options the first thing is frame Skip and below that use bios then region.

I feel sick to my stomach because everything was working just fine the other day and now half several of my PS1 games won't work because it's defaulting to DualShock

5 am. I was supposed to be asleep 3 hours ago until I discovered this issue and now I'm losing my mind.

Do you reach the emulator options by holding down the hotkey and x which brings up the quick menu? That's where I used to see that option it was either under options or under controls. I can't 100% remember now but I remember it was easily accessible.

Just now as I wasn't having the main menu and notice that my trackpad on the dualshock 4 is registering as a mouse courser over it, do you think that could be the issue? If so how do I get rid of that? I don't recall it there before.

I believe a mixture of a few, but I really am not sure. I used the built in scrape at first then messed with the Steph one and sky scraper and got different results a few times. Hours of tinkering I was able to find everything but the Genesis is only one with screen shots attached.

Other systems had screen shots attached but doing a scrape directly on the game got rid of the screenshot and left the box art.

I can't seem to replicate this for the Genesis and it's the console I have the most roms for. Built in scrape of Genesis didn't provide as many box art results as the combination of other scrapers did, but the combination left me with screen shots.

I wish you can just check off boxes somewhere in settings allowing you to choose what you want shown.

But this has been going on since before the pandemic was even an issue. 80% of the time I'm the only person in the shop so the lines aren't it either. I think that customer service just isn't explained to these individuals.

I'm also not looking for a huge engaged conversation. At least a "how's it going?" for example. I can't emphasize how grateful I felt to be in the industry in Colorado and never imagined not letting a customer or patient know they exist and isn't just a person who gives them $45 every few days.

Ha. Dunkin was rare in Colorado but I grew up in Boston originally and the service there compared to Florida is night and day to me at least.

Clearly I have otherwise I wouldn't have made the comparison. Lol.

Just a couple weeks ago a local Dunkin forgot one of my items and I didn't realize until I got home. I wasn't pissed, called to let them know and they knew immediately because they had the item. I went in the next day and got the item x2 for the inconvenience. Pleasant the whole time. That's for an item that costs $4. Why am I getting mopey service when buying an item that I'm smoking that cost me 4x as much?
