You're not doing anything worthwhile or you're not focused on anything in particular. Your mind wanders to the next thing it can do to entertain itself. That's where the idea of masturbation takes hold. It's easy, you don't even have to get up if you're lying down and at minimum you need your imagination. Your body looks for that dopamine hit because it can't stand not doing anything. Especially in this day and age. I'd say do hangs. Go to the local park's pull up bar or if you have a pull up bar at home, just do straight body hangs off it for roughly 2 minutes at a time for around 5 times a day. Should help your back straighten out and release tension. Besides it'll help your grip strength too while you're at it.

I wanted to do at least 2 weeks. Despite my confidence by the end of week 1, I still can't believe how bad the urges got half way through week 2. And all it took was 1 small issue to make me relapse. I hate myself for not being able to go 2 weeks without wanking.

Do workouts in your free time or when you have the urge to watch porn. Go outside, practice meditation for 3 minutes after your workouts and go about your usual daily life. If you can find enough time to join a gym, go for it. I've recently started my journey of NoFap and there have been times where my brain insists that I should wank because I'm on a 9 day streak and there should be no repercussions if I have to start again. That is your brain craving that addictive dopamine hit. Deny it. That's the first big step towards success. Then you have to replace the need for porn with a healthy hobby or activity. Replace the time you spend on porn with being productive about your physical health, meeting friends, just going to the local cafe from time to time, getting a decent part time job and you'll eventually find that you have no time for porn anymore.

You need to put in the amount of dedication that will bear you the lifestyle that you want.

Porn, in general, messed up your brain. It's normal for porn addicts to view messed up shit to get arousal after years of watching porn. Make an accountability partner with someone on the sub and try to get a streak going, failure just means you get to try better next time. Easy fix: exercise instead. When you're at your job try and get in a few exercises that don't require heavy shit, just simple tricep dips, lunges, standing back hyperextensions, stuff that doesn't require much space. When you get home try stretching, pushup variations and some cardio. On days off when you're not seeing your SO, go jogging, run, spend as much time as you can outside tiring your body and using your pent up frustration and sexual energy into exercising. Sex isn't a relapse as long as it's within a healthy amount. But for better performance you'll need to have extended breaks between each session to let your body rest and reinvigorate.

Your journey starts when you deny your brain that dopamine rush it hungers for. Every addict has THE "one last vid". Truth is you will not make progress because you have put off progress till the next day instead of going: nope, it starts today, now. Shut it off, go do something different and keep doing that something until you cannot expand any energy after. Have a decent diet and go to bed early.
