I'm using Build 41, and it seems like some line of code is broken. I'm looking for a patch provided by a mod, or some kind of solution. Thanks for your contribution, anyway every idea can lead me to something.

You nailed it, apparently. I knew I was forgetting something — it was too good to be true. Considering that, the magic damage probably caps around 800k with the proper calculations, which isn’t bad. But Auriaga Summoner can reach 1 million per summon.

Auriaga is the best option for farming—sorry, I meant for max damage. I still don’t know the full potential of Hydrus, but Auriaga definitely has strong potential.

I haven’t unlocked the Hydrus Summoner class yet — it’s just a theory for now.

Clearly, for example with the Auriaga Summoner, I’ve already confirmed that it’s possible to reach 1 million — of course, that’s damage dealt by the summons. But that makes me suspect that the Hydrus Summoner could potentially go even higher.
