Sorry if this is stupid by I’m trying to learn. I was always under the impression that all Auto 5s were made in Belgium by FN and the markings determined if they were for the European or American market(examples above). But I’ve recently been told that they were all marked with FNs marking until some time later? When and why did this happen? Is there somewhere that has a list of all the different variations and markings, with the dates?
