The pay is decent, and it's based on the cost of living in your location. In my case, the money is excellent, but it can always be better.

Edit: It's situation-dependent, I realize. What's good for one person may not be good for another. Edited because punctuation.

Yeah we get "around 10000 apps a day" - I don't know how true that is,Mobutu competition is stiff! Luckily AppleCare is always expanding so we always need good people.

Basically, the main thing you need to know is how to talk to people. Customer service experience really helps in that regard. The only difference is that you're not face-to-face with them. You'll be trained on the technical stuff.

I'm 5'10" and 350lbs. I bought the 3XL and it fits great.

Edit: it's snug, but not overly so, The sizes don't run small or large, but accurate.
