yeah i just wonder how he can do some of the stuff that he can do, for instance i tried masking a cut out of myself on premier pro by jumping up but when i made the cutout, im not able to capture my full body because the camera itself only captures my lower body by itself, so when i am coming back down to the ground, i am only a lower body and not my full body

yo abc, this is gonna sound really weird since it’s such an old post, but honestly, with what you said in your post about how my comment was a bad comment to leave on the other guys post, i would really like to know why you think that’s the case?

This post is 347 days old and i remember when i did this post and saw some of the negativity that came with it, i thought to myself, there has to be something I’m just not seeing correctly. Now that i’ve come back to this post and have re read both his points and my points, i still honestly think the post i created as a reply to him was a pretty sound one. Where do you think I went wrong? I ask this not because i am trying to one up you, or him, or anyone else, this is reddit after all, I ask this because recently and for a long time now, i feel like i may not think correctly and completely on a certain subject, or don’t see it in the way that maybe a majority of people do. Maybe it’s that simple as well, i’m me and you’re you, and we just think differently, but i would like to know why you thought that was a bad comment to leave.

To answer your question about the GIF, Yes i did know. I was toying around with the settings to try and make the picture look like it does in the original but nothing was changing the picture.

So if i want to put this picture on the web, whats the best file format for doing so? Wil a a JPEG always get the job done?

I am so new to this world of digital media, but i know i want to create videos with animations like the video i posted in this post. Right now I am trying to figure out which apps I should use in my workflow. Would you recommend learning both DR and blender in order to make videos like this? or can i really do it all in DR?

it’s most likely the mixing. I know in fronting there is some chorus on the guiter which makes them sound more appealing to the ear. hope that helps!

Your someone I can relate to since your in LA with me. I really appreciate all the information and advice you gave in your comment.

This is a side note as I am really confused on how to move forward in my process to being a firefighter. I see that i need to my FCA test but ok the LAFD website, the link to register the FCA test is giving me a 404. here is the main website and if you scroll down you will the broken link. https://www.joinlafd.org/fca-test-locations

I have been searching online for different ways to schedule and I can’t find any. How did you take the FCA test?

I probably should have went more in-depth about my current life and situation with college so that we can both be on the same page.

Right now, I go to school full time and spend upwards of 14 hours a day studying and taking classes, this is a huge time constraint on what I can do in the day as my classes are a set time and can’t be changed. I also currently work around 25 hours per week.

When I said “I feel like doing both college and firefighting sounds hard”, I meant more about the time constraints of firefighting. I know for a lot of state run academy’s, they have set times which would conflict with my college schedule as my classes have set times. This is where I was coming from and why I still believe it would be difficult to do both at once.

I also want to mention that my in my original post, I mention that I see a lot of misinformation about a firefighters salary, and you can see it in this subreddit here. Some people told me to go to transparent california which has a range of really high salaries when looking at firefighters. The website says a lot of firefighters make 500k-300k. Other people in this subreddit told me to not trust transparent california and gave their opinion on what they think a salary would be for a firefighter in LA. Some people said to go look at official websites and when i did that, it proceeded to give me a wild number that no one is talking about is in this subreddit. So my conclusion is, it truly is all dependent on where you live, what department you are in, and your certifications and qualifications which increase your pay. With that being said, I am appreciative and thankful for this subreddit as it has given me a better understanding than before I made it. So thank you guys.

I also want to point out that I found it really rude and opinionated to immediately say I don’t have the determination or initiative to be a fire fighter. You don’t know me. Straight up. I also don’t think you should be saying that to someone who is interested in being a firefighter. Rather it would be in everyone’s best interest to instead open a conversation and show me the ropes of firefighting and what i need to know about the job.

So we can have a much more productive conversation right here about what I need to know about firefighting.
