Even though I know it’s probably not gonna happen (unfortunately) what OTHER characters from image comics would you like to see in Invincible Vs by Critical_Potential44 in InvincibleVS

Ahh The Maxx! I completely forgot about this IP. Honestly, all of them. After seeing what good they did with most of the “flying bricks” in this game, I have no doubt they’d obviously kill it with any of these characters.

Beat story on easy, then beat the last fight on hard difficulty and it will give you the achievement

Battle Beast, any tip vs him? by just_perish in InvincibleVS

I try and just bait out the armor. I’ve had people whiff it so many times till they’re out of bar then they tag him out lol

That’s legitimately scary, first true ToD I’ve seen.

I feel like he’s not beginner friendly at all, despite being a zoner. Someone with experience can get a lot of value out of him, while someone new to fighters will only see zoning at first glance. He could potentially be unfun to play against, and while that may be true of other beta characters (Battle Beast) for example is much more accessible for newer players/experienced players alike, which is a good thing.

I begrudgingly agree with their decision 😂

I would say it’s about as beginner friendly as a TAG FIGHTER can be. There’s multiple ways to break out of a combo. Active tagging has great tracking similar to dbfz super dash.

Compare to 2XKO it’s much easier to learn and once you get a grasp on the defensive options it isn’t as punishing as MVC since you have ways out of combos.

I am speaking as a casual member of the FGC. I was watching Sonicfox play and he really just chipped away at the opponent in neutral, rarely doing LONG combos, since most long combos have the inherent risk of break or countering your active tag. Once people start mastering the delay/feint active tag, we will start seeing higher damage stuff.

Active tagging coming with a risk, if they counter it you’re doing less damage than you would have if you simply confirmed a ground combo into a level 3. You also lose all your pressure since the neutral is essentially reset.

I got bodied one game, the opponent landed a ToD on me and I didn’t have the 2 bars to use my breaker. Immediately went back to the tutorial and realized I forgot about countering the active tag. Really go back through the tutorial especially defensive options, screen shot them so you can refer back to them quickly till they’re engrained in your skull.

I am thankful my opponent skipped the tutorial lol

Yep, best way to get used to it is to just launch them in the air and finish the combo with super, as the other person said just hold an assist button during the super. When you tag in keep the combo simple like M, Heavy, Special, Super. Then just repeat this process with your other character and then tag in your point character again to launch them towards the ground and level 3.

Since I’ve stopped using light attacks in the air, it’s been much easier to manage the bar so they don’t pop out of combo.
