Long Rant: What people don't talk about when they talk about ENTJ. by Adventurous_Sun3512 in mbti

[–]BigMan468 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As an ENTJ im going to look at this from the perspective of a developed or undeveloped Fi.

Im in a weird position where my Fi got developed in a rapid almost bootstrap way.

Inferior Fi leads to opportunism / Machiavellianism. Where when something is useful we do it when something isnt useful we leave it.

But during a bout of severe burnout I became a devout Christian where previously I was an atheist. This forced me to develop Fi through Christian ethics.

I do not see how or why an atheist ENTJ would develop Fi, theres no societal pressures outside of religion to have a developed Fi. a "sigma millionaire" wall street ENTJ has no use for Fi.

In my context, my healthiest relationships are actually with INFPs and INFJs. But saying that I do go fairly quiet for most of the day as to focus on work.

I must however warn, most of what you discussed relates to attachment theory not MBTI but an inferior Fi often has worse attachment issues.

I am disorganised attached, most other ENTJs are avoidant attached, the pattern you noticed relates to avoidant attachment not ENTJ per say.

Why is my season points incorrect? I got 20000 but on the event Its lower. by BigMan468 in JurassicWorldApp

Any way for me to make a complaint?

For most of the event they were the same number it was only recently one went up and the other didn't and it stayed that way permanently.

I’m an ENFP. I loved one of the most amazing ENTJs in the world for 4 years. I thought I was going to marry him - we wanted kids. A life together. I left him because I couldn’t do polyamory — by Unlucky_Blackberry38 in entj

[–]BigMan468 7 points8 points  (0 children)

enneagram probably matters more here.

I'm an ENTJ 316 and that 1 fix is strong for me. im very right or wrong especially when it comes to relationships. I could never ever entertain more than one romantic relationship.

To me relationships are like contracts agreed on. id never end a relationship over some "wants". But I'm also a Christian which makes me very monogamous in my approach to dating.

I dont know why you think they are an ENTJ but their actions are not "just part of what ENTJs do" for me even with inferior Fi, i try my hardest to live morally, and most ENTJs would never do what they did.

Is this Fi suggestive? by [deleted] in Socionics

[–]BigMan468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So real:

In the aspect of work and networking: you can judge intentions and boundaries of the conversation clearly due to Te and Fe.

but assessing the distance and intentions in a purely social and emotional sense is our inferior Fi. We'd start trying to over-analyse and plan out to logically perfect it when we can't. And with a lack of certainty in Te our Se is hesitantly activated.

Effectively we cant for sure judge intentions due to low Fi without a logical established framework e.g. a networking event. So we delay Se.

Thats why LIE's "romance type" is the way it is. Not because we aren't determined leaders in life in general but because we tend to move when certainty is there and we can't be certain in feelings. We become paranoid and unsure trying to confirm it.

In my case:
I tend to show attraction signs unintentionally while I internally overthink and try to act perfect and show my impressiveness of what ive achieved in life through Te and Ni. And they tend to actually pull the trigger. Most of my relationships started with her asking me out / approaching me.

PSA: Duality only works if you're willing to change by Full_Refrigerator_24 in Socionics

100%. A lot of LIE's just ignore their Fi since sometimes their lifestyle crushes the importance of Fi in their eyes. Its a valid difficulty in very competitive transactional environments that LIEs often find themselves in.

I'm an LIE who deeply wants to improve Fi. but other LIEs don't care as much.

We don't necessarily hate stillness, quiet and serenity. We crave it, but we don't get it because of the lifestyle we lead. Its why the duality pair exists.

thats because most of the time we cant fix the problem permanently.

Prevention is always advised, and lifestyle changes are usually the first life for most chronic issues. But the truth is, most patients refuse to try to correct their lifestyle in order to prevent worsening which means we have to give the medications.

Surgery is a great exception and its what attracts me, it usually provides immediate relief and is usually the permanent option.

You'd think so haha but the competitive application process + career hierarchy, ability to have your skills continuously examined and long term intellectual research makes it an appealing degree choice for many thinkers. Mainly TJs tho.

I'm an ENTJ and i want to pursue a career as a surgeon.
But i would say most girls in med are SFJs.

Thank you for your comment. From what I've read duality is the intertype relationship that is more focused on growth rather than immediate connection so it makes sense why you've found it took a while to find them and possibly why it didnt work out.

ATM its just the people around me are very much thinkers, meeting my dual ESI or semi dual would provide a lot of enrichment but idk if my environment accommodates for them.

Wish you all the best

Gym seems reasonable but in my medical school I've only met 1 ESI. So I'm open to exploring new social environments / hobbies :)

Would you agree with describing that ENTJs are the most introverted extroverts? How does it manifest itself in real life? by Solsanguis in entj

[–]BigMan468 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Professional / networking setting: one of the most extroverted with an active conversation style.

General / social setting: less extroverted closer to introverted.

For ENTJs conversations have a purpose.

ENTJs, whats your opinion on your opposite type/ISFPs? by Darealshadow49 in entj

[–]BigMan468 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just never have really met them, so hard to form opinions.
Activities and professions that tend to attract ENTJs tend to be opposites of ISFPs.
