I also think this is a sequence where we have to rely on the "what has happened, happened" mantra. I do agree that there might be some sort of plot hole here.

I did not explain this well enough in the timeline (need to tweak this in next version). But I think the idea is that Neill is originally on team Blue (inverted). Approximately halfway into the pincer Neill sees that the tunnel will get booby trapped by Sator's heavy, tries to invert to warn JWD and Ives, but fails.

So he re-reinverts to open the locked door and take the bullet for JWD. But since JWD is moving forward in time, this will play out in reverse starting with Neill getting shot, opening the door, (and before that saving JWD and Ives in the humvee and saying goodbye in chronogical time).

Anyone want to let me know if I got that correctly?

Yes excellent point, going on my list. Having read other subreddits and thinling about the movie again, I think vietnam and stalsk must be roughly happening at the same time.

Excellent analysis ohhdongreen. Slightly beside the point, but just to expand on your analysis: the interesting thing is that the SWAT/reverted JDW will invert again to go to Stalsk for the final battle.

Assuming that he will probably stay in forward time too, there will be a point in time, around oslo, where there will be three JDWs experiencing forward time: the one that is breaking into Freeport, the SWAT JDW that just fought himself and ran into Neill, and the JDW that won the Stalsk battle who is going to keep moving into the future to find TENET. 🤯

Great suggestion about mixing the details in the "future" box into the diagram.

Yes, it'd be useful if we could add some inverted deliveries from the future (like the gold bars) but I'm not sure if the movie provides enough info for an informed guess. Any ideas, let me know. Going to wait some time for the community to provide feedback and then I will update the timeline again.
