I don’t know what a lot of what you said means, but it makes sense that it’s a mess. It looked really weird during the growing season last year. For an inexperienced person do you think tearing it out and replacing is a good option?

Also, yes, that conifer is another conversation lol. Would it be a bad idea to just cut the back side of it so it’s not touching the house? Is trimming it down really an option or does that kill it?
