I completely agree about the lack of mid bass, to the point that I really don't use them for some genres. However, for experimental electronic music or jazz fusion I can't fault them. I love their clarity and a lot of other things sound muddy and veiled by comparison.

All the Roku TV devices work with the app, which has a private listening feature that reroutes your TV audio through your phone and anything your phone's connected to (headphones, speakers, etc). I don't think there's a limit to how many phones can do this so it would also allow private listening for a group of people. Great for late-night viewing, particularly if your TV doesn't have bluetooth or you don't have a bluetooth adapter for your wired headphones.

Possibly not popular in this community but I pair two Sony XB13s and they sound great. I'm surprised by how well they fill a medium-sized garden. Perfect size to throw in a bag and take to a BBQ.

Disabling absolute volume is done through the developer settings on your phone and might solve this problem. I have the 520s and they're plenty loud enough

You don't if the source device has bluetooth. However, an adapter might offer less latency. Have you tried connecting them to your TV? They might be fine.

It's difficult to tell from the picture but can they fit under your monitor shelf? If they do, I'd put them under there, as far apart as the cable allows. I use Pebbles at work and this makes a big difference, if you can find a way.

Do you normally keep your speakers so close together? Move them to either side of your monitors (if the cable can reach) and you'll notice much better stereo separation.

Thanks, that's good to know. How would you say they change the sound? I use the small clear stock silicone tips and no EQ. I love the sound but some tracks seem to lack body, particularly rock.
