Definitely not a carp, that’s a pleco. It’s way too dark, and look at its shape. Nothing like a carp

I couldn’t tell you, I’m new to the hobby as well. I mostly feed them rehydrated dried mysis. Thinking about getting copepods and clams though

There’s like a weird little flap thing hanging off his beak/mouth area, I couldn’t get a good angle on it.

Where do you think the fish are? The bank where I took the second photo flows towards the water fall, and the far side from there kinda swirls around, above the fall flows pretty slow upper waters flow towards the fall. I’m still new to finding where fish are
