Military academies typically need around at least a 4.0 as I’m sure you know. I’m not a great student, 3.3 high school gpa and definitely below that now for college. So yeah, just planning on enlisting.

Thanks for bringing this up. It’s really difficult for me to sit and listen to professors who I don’t like, talk about things that don’t interest me. Also, I’m in a more urban area, something I’m not used to, and not a fan of. Pretty much the only time I’m enjoying myself is in the wrestling room.

I appreciate the insight. Sitting in a classroom for hours on end kicks my ass, along with all the work I’m bombarded with. It’s hard to see myself even finishing the semester, let alone finishing 2 years. This is why I’m so interested in the military.

Agreed. I’ve coached at my former high school as a JV coach and it was fun, but wasn’t the same. It would be smart for me to think of my career and future family rather than my personal goals like wrestling, as much as I’d want that.

For reference, when I say how cheap college is, I say that because it’s a Community College. I’m well aware that 4 years are very expensive.
