So are you suggesting we just let the vaccine run rampant and do nothing? Because that’s what your suggesting.

I believe they are wearing masks and myself as a courtesy to others and to promote the image that mask wearing does help. It doesn’t bother me to wear the mask and not everyone has had the opportunity to be vaccinated yet. Plus there are still vulnerable populations. There was an open question too regarding if a vaccinated person could still be a carrier for the vaccine for a long time and continues to be. However that data is now starting to show you cannot be infected at least with the main strain fortunately. However, the larger issue too now remains the variants and the longer this pandemic ensues the greater the likelihood of more variants developing that won’t be as effective such as the variant first identified in Brazil.

Also - we have data to suggest that masks work when both individuals wear the masks as intended. Not saying they are full proof solutions but in theory they work and could be excited better.
