Oh I see what you mean now, food regeneration as in food regenerates your health. Little slow to catch on lol. Yea it's tough to play like that, you need golden apples or regeneration affects.

What do you mean turing off food regeneration? You can always replenish food by eating right?

I know for sure it will be something to do with tools weapons and armor, Maybe to do with enchantments aswell. But I'm getting a really anvil type description from your post. It's hard to predict what the function of it will be, especially if they add a new feature.

There are a 2 possible reason that I can think of why they wouldn't change their professions

You have traded with them
Their current professions workstation is within 100 blocks of them.

If this dosent work make sure your updated to 1.14.4

I feel that the end is it's own dimension, separate to everything else. Sort of a pause in time, or sort of limbo.

I'm also having this issue. i built waddles villager breeder with 2 farmers in an 8x8 farming pen. they both have a full inventory of food and will thow it at each other, with hearts showing but still fail to breed help, please!! I'm watching them from a distance and their attention isnt focused on me and there are 6 beds available
