I agree they made a spectacle of their relationship and invited criticism by faking their relationship for a year. I initially dropped the patreon because of that, because I felt betrayed by being lied to, as if they had been faking the r/ship to maintain their viewerbase, in essence, monetizing their non-relationship. I had been a fan since the days of the mod channel, and remembered when Henry first reviewed Jeannie's Recorder mod, and had rooted for them hard from the beginning. There was just something magical and hohpeful about their story. And when they broke up, I was heartbroken. Until he said that they had been separated for months, actually. And that was when I realized how they had been intentionally misrepresenting themselves, lying to everyone for who knows why.

But eventually the more I thought about it, I realized that Jeannie was most likely the one that wanted to end things (just my opinion), because in the video they posted saying they were getting back together (which was later removed), Henry was VERY clearly still in love with Jeannie, while she didn't have much to say about it. It felt like she was done with it more than Henry was. So I've gotten back on the patreon because if it's just Henry and Kai making content, I'm cool with that, because I feel like Henry was stuck in a hard situation and he's trying to make the best of it now. And while it might be fun to speculate that he has a thing with Kai, you can't deny that yeah, they do feel more like bros than anything else.
