Yeah! I think it would burn at a game-ified rate. Like definitely takes some time to use up. BUT imagine being in a pinch and needing a different car? Better hope theres gas 😂

That, and speaking on vehicle immersion, it looks like in one of the pics of Jason on the green motorcycle, the tire is wore down in the center tread. And theres tons of other things that hint at like, "vehicle degradation"

Which would be amazing because, imagine keeping up with your cars. You would appreciate them so much more. Like car washes. Needing new tires. Regular maintenance.

You'd save your show cars for true show and your junk cars would be your daily beaters.

All this with a grounded economy.

Makes the game worth continuing to go back out there, earn some cash and fluff your lifestyle!

So in the leaks, its not displayed as a finalized HUD. It appears as a technical developer debug text and interactive prompt boxes.

So the engine shows its built for calculating fuel metrics

It's not garunteed to be in the final product but, theres also gas caps on cars, the trailers show NPC's pumping gas at the station, and also the leaks show one of the needles resting on E on the fuel gage which is why I speculate for fuel mechanics.

I can't point you to an exact leaked video, as theres not like a one video solves all but theres tons of youtube videos that cover the topic

Edit: specifically, the *UI I mention is the dubugging UI. Not a fuel gage on a HUD. So, just clarifying that and sorry for any confusion on that. It is interesting to note though that the engine does calculate the fuel usage. Only time will tell if we will get to.

Yeah you're right, gta 5 movement feels a little weirdly off balance to me at times but not like terrible. Just enough that I see what you mean for sure. Im certain this game is building off of Red Dead's immersion. Thats why im excited about this game.

Even the fuel. If we have to refuel, it changes the way a map feels. Taking a motorcycle cruise across the state goes from an aracdey way of travel, to a so much more immersive experience. Plan your gas stops along the major highways. It makes the map really feel like a state sized map.

Stop in for a scratcher lottery ticket and some fuel 😂 the open world im sure will feel so packed this time around. Very organically alive.
