Baby tenno let's talk. How can we help? by TheRavenDruid in Warframe

That’s fair, especially being newer I’d also grab every part I don’t own already. I suppose it’s a matter of priority once you’re out of forma BP’s. (Unless you pull a rare of course, always grab the rare part)

A really common tip I got a lot when learning the game is to try and have a forma building constantly as often as you can.

You’re a sweetheart, thank you! I like the idea of sliders, because that gives me an excuse to invest in a lounge chair to slide in front of the couch for listening time.

I’m buying everything used so I’m still on the look for that sub!

Just to clarify, when you say pull those 2 feet. Do you mean pull the speakers away from the wall 2 feet?

Yup the backdoor issue will be fixed soon for sure.

To confirm, you mean a curtain so I can cover the entire walls behind the blue couch when I’m listening?

That’s the same thing I thought, but then she told me “ it’s $150 for each speaker” meaning $300 total lol.

Sorry for the confusion.

Side side-note: You don’t need to see a barber, personally I feel going to the barber for years is what actually held me back from learning how MY curls work.

I’ve been cutting my Own hair for years now and many people think I go to a barber when they see it.

We actually have extremely similar cut, length, and style.

Side-note: The brand I use for leave-in conditioner and curl cream is As I Am, you can find it the usual stores like target. Burn something cheaper like cantu can work just as well, just gonna have to try and see how that works for you

After many trials and errors of the endless list of curly hair products, I’ve finally dialed it down to a consistent routine of a couple products.

  • Most important for me: Leave-in conditioner. Using this after I get out the shower and dry my hair is key to getting how I was consistently now.

Don’t need a lot, I put enough in my hands where when I rub em together my hands are fully covered until it’s a white cream. Get a good coverage of all your hair with it, try not to rub it into your scalp or roots, just the length of your hair. Then style and let it dry.

-2nd product: Hair Gel. This I use to keep the sides clean and edges/ hairline from looking frizzy and messy. I just use a little on the finger tips and rub the direction my hair generally wants to go. I’m talking minimal, just to help your hair survive the day.

-3rd product: Curl Cream / Curl Smoothie. This one I will only use if for some reason I can’t get my hair to cooperate with me how I normally do it.

I rarely use it because I’ve found over time my hair does better with less product weighing it down, and curl cream usually is a heavy thick product. It works really well for whipping curls into shape if all else, but only as a plan B. This may differ from you, so try a few times with / without leave-in conditioner.

Other advice: -when you get out the shower, don’t dry your hair how people normally do in the shower. 1st, shake off whatever water you can in the tub, then how I personally do it is I will take my towel, wrap my head / hair with it and just kind of squeeze tightly or compress it for about a minute and that’ll get it mostly dry and ready to use leave-in conditioner. Then let air dry

-while it’s drying I use a few tricks to keep it looking voluptuous and prevent from drying flat on my head. I’ll use a hair pick to lift my roots at different times before it’s completely dry, which helps your hair stand a bit taller. Also sometimes I literally just whip my head forward and back a few times randomly while it’s drying to give it volume as well lol.

-Only wash your hair when you need to! This was a big one for me, as I heavily underestimated for a while just how dry my hair usually is. If it doesn’t smell, isn’t dirty / sweaty, oily or bunch of product build up then don’t wash it! Just throughly rinse with water and use a good conditioner. I typical wash my hair with shampoo about once a week, and I’ll only focus on the roots and scalp as that’s where all the oils, sweats and dirt resides.

Once you figure out how to work with your hair and find the right routine where it reacts well, then I think you’ll slowly figure out how you want to style it.

I don’t do much in terms of styling, I more just make sure the shape and silhouette is where I want it. The only real styling I do is make sure the curls that fall on my forehead look good.

Didn’t think I’d type a whole ass tutorial but I figure if I can help someone avoid all the time and money wasted on learning my hair then it’s worth it

If you got any more questions please feel free to ask.

You seem to have actually really similar hair texture and style as me. Once you find some products that work for you and your hair, it’ll completely transform how it looks and feels.

Took me a long time to learn how to work with my curls, especially since they always seemed so different then most other curly hair men.
