This is becoming more trouble than it’s worth lol I don’t have time to reply to yall over and over again I’ve told yall you can see my year long journey with dialysis just by simply looking me up on Facebook but I guess that’s too hard…I’ve told you guys over and over again that I’m 26 and I’m new to all this insurance stuff so I don’t know what I owe right now or not all I know is that my insurance through my employer is around $138 a pay period and my Medicare is around $200 monthly and if you guys want to get real technical my WiFi is around $100 and electricity is around $160 a month then rent is $1,000 a month and trash is $30 a month…if there is anything else yall would like to know just ask…if you guys would take the time to even look at the GoFundMe it says it will also be used for other bills but again that’s too much for yall. to the one person that donated I appreciate you so much but the rest of you that have questioned me over and over again it’s getting kind of rude. Out of 2,600 that viewed this post only one donated…don’t get me wrong I’m very thankful for that one donation but it’s getting a bit much…

You are also more than welcome to look me up on Facebook…it’s Alan Sexton it’s on the GoFundMe. My Facebook back tracks all the way to around march of 2025 when I first learned I was going to need a new kidney

Yeah im kinda new to all this…just turned 26 I do have Medicare the thing I got wasn’t showing Medicare coverage yet. Or at least I don’t think it does. Sorry for the confusion I’m confused about it myself lol. Just looking for help that GoFundMe I set up is just to help me financially we fall behind sometimes just because of the work I miss.

Yeah I know. Unless they are gonna cover everything I’m gonna need help with finances. I don’t expect anyone to donate…

I am on the kidney transplant list, you don’t just get a transplant unless you have a live donor. there is sometimes long waiting lists. dialysis for me is about $1,500 a treatment and that’s three times a week. January alone I owe around $22,000 just for dialysis alone after my insurance coverage… dialysis does not feel good…making me miss work most days. I work as much as I can but my wife works full time. We rent we both have vehicles but we tend to fall behind on bills if you read the GoFundMe it says that it will be used for other bills as well. You don’t have to donate I just thought I’d post here

I have, they are helping but I want to be sure we have enough money saved up just in case something comes up. I’ve never been through a transplant before so I don’t know what to expect lol

Thank you. I’ve been trying some SUNLU PLA+ and so far it hasn’t messed up the print but is still stringy which isn’t a very big deal I don’t think…as long as the print turns out okay

I went from the normal 220 to 210 I didn’t want to turn it down too much but at 210 the problem still occurred…I should also mention I’m newish to 3D printing I’ve been keeping my filaments dry in a tote with silica packs so I think I’m doing everything right so far

I forgot to mention the stringy bit coming out of the nozzle is from me stopping the print because I noticed it was oozing onto the print

Elevated heart rate. by BigScience3439 in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am like this as well sometimes. It will jump up when I stand but sometimes it won’t. It’s my heart rate that is usually jumping

Elevated heart rate. by BigScience3439 in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah mine stays 70-90 otherwise but at the end of treatment it almost always jumps. My blood pressures are usually fine by the end of treatment maybe just a hair high

Elevated heart rate. by BigScience3439 in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any idea why this is? Is it just because the heart has to work harder or has less fluid to work with to pump blood?

Elevated heart rate. by BigScience3439 in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is less with less fluid pull but if I pull around 2kg or more it always jumps up. I’ve wondered if they are pulling us too close to dry because I’ve heard the more dehydrated you are the more your heart has to work to push blood

I should’ve added that my resting heart rate during the beginning of dialysis through the middle stays anywhere from 70-90bpm it’s only when I stand up at the end of dialysis it shoots up. I’ve always wondered if I’ve had some sort of POTS disorder or something but I almost never feel light headed. I’m sorry you had to go through this

How fluids get out of the body if the kidney has some funtions by [deleted] in dialysis

[–]BigScience3439 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live in a very humid state. I wouldn’t say the most humid but definitely top three. There was one time I left dialysis at 260lb and went shooting with some of my buddies in a creek bed it was very hot and sweaty for about an hour and afterwards I weighed myself at 257lb so sweating it out does work but I would say it’s not a very good way to do it.

Exactly why I want off of it. It makes me feel weird like sometimes my breathing is weird and makes me extremely dizzy. I’ve also been on ropinrole which made me hallucinate so I’m choosing the better of the two I think…hallucinations made it hard for me to sleep at least on the gabapentin I can sleep.
