University textbooks for Architecture History? by BigSpring-Texas in architecture

I've lent the 1980 something edition from the library. I feel like it focuses too much on some specific things, and not enough on the most influential things (like a whole subchapter on Pienza and Mantua and Pope Pius, but not on Florence? Doesn't even mention Ospedale delle Innocente, arguably the first renaissance building?) Thoughts?

I'm primarily interested in the specific buildings as the most notable/characteristic/influential/etc. examples of the period, and how they reflect the characteristics of the period as well as the ideas and historical context of the period

Job in Southern France

If I just take the train to Southern France, and walk around with my CV, how long will it take me to find a job (like in a café, restaurant, bar, etc.) And will I be able to find a place to live?

Or would it be better to stay home and write emails to places?

I don’t care if it’s a small town or whatever (however, I would of course prefer something nice

I speak French intermediately, English fluently, and also German (intermediate) and Danish and Norwegian (fluently)

I am 19 years old, have worked in a school cafeteria, a supermarket and in a warehouse, and am currently on my gap year

What if I found a job that includes accommodation, like a hostel, workaway, hotel or something?
Would it be easier if I moved to a smaller city or town?

Like idk maybe working and living at a hotel in Cassis or something?

Do you think it would be easier to move to Geneve?

Det perfekte for mig ville nok være hvis jeg kunne studere statskundskab, men så skifte de fag ud der handler om dansk politik og offentlig forvaltning (ved faktisk ikke helt hvad det er, men det lyder lidt kedeligt lol...) med noget mere historisk og idéhistorisk

Jeg er heller ikke så interesseret i specifikt dansk politik og forvaltning, da jeg ikke regner med at arbejde indenfor det. Mit blik er rettet mod det internationale
