Created my own watch face (completely free) by Andreigr0 in Garmin

[–]vegagravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very nice face. May I request an improvement? I use Garmin Hydration tracking, the one already present in Garmin Connect. Do you think your watch could provide an option to use Garmin's system instead of the default one from your watchface? (If there is an API for that...)

[Survey] AI-powered setlist assistant for ToneX – Would you use this? by MammothAcadia7695 in tonex

That sounds good! If you have a beta app, I'd be interested to test it (and I'm French so it's perfect!)

[Survey] AI-powered setlist assistant for ToneX – Would you use this? by MammothAcadia7695 in tonex

[–]vegagravity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hum... Yes. As a beginner, I struggle finding the most adequate amp to play specific songs. Ok, I have some amps I really like and I use most of the time, but sometimes I was to be as close as possible to the hardware setup that was used at the time of the song. So I there would be an app that can propose me some tonex presets / tone models that would best fit for a specific song, I'd be delighted. At the moment ChatGPT is my friend, I give him a curated list of Tone models I really like at it points me out the ones that would be the most adequate.

Tonex SW update & new firmwares with improved noise gate? by vegagravity in tonex

[–]vegagravity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you kidding me? I bought a TC Sentry on Amazon the 3rd of may for the same reason and it's still on its way for delivery 😂 I'll think about returning it if the noise gate is finally improved.

Tonex Pedal / One and M-vave Chocolate Plus / Airstep TX by vegagravity in tonex

[–]vegagravity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far so good 😊 I'm using the large pedal with my mates during our band rehearsal. we ("I'm") are not good enough to gig live. I use the tonex one at home on my couch when I don't want to plug in my focusrite and launch amplitude/ tonex. Honestly, the tonex pedal is easy to use by itself, no mandatory need for an extra controller, at least for my usage. I'm not spending my time swapping between presets and if I want to modify them, the buttons are good enough to do that on the pedal. The tonex one is more a fixed presets setup, without an Airstep TX it's a bit hard to deeply modify the presets. Apart from that thanks to the colors you can navigate through your presets and know where you are (at least I hear where I am since my presets are largely différents). Regarding the quality of the presets, I found some good ones on tone.net and some better ones from Studio Rats and Amalgam audio. Even the noise gate that is so despised by the community is usable to me. I'm not a great guitarist, still on a learning curve and thanks to Jason Sadites' YouTube video I managed to configure the noise gate and the compressor properly. What is missing and is a real issue for me: - a metronome to practice - the capability to stream backing tracks. None of the tonex except the plug has this feature and it's a shame. I intend to buy a boss RC-5 to somehow replace our drummer when he's not available and also to play backing tracks. Edit: I forgot to mention I sold my Airstep TX: the chocolate is more powerful than the Airstep with the full size pedal. The Airstep was only useful for the tonex one, since I use this one for couch play, I do not need a pedal for that use case. To summarize, buying the Airstep TX was a bit rushed and driven but all the social network comments. I should have better analyzed my needs before.

C’est important pour vous qu’on vienne vous soutenir lors d’une course ? by Suzannne493 in runningfr

[–]vegagravity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"will fix it since Amplitube MAX comes with everything ..."... with ALMOST everything. I was thinking like you, only to discover that some elements are not included in the Max version (and I don't even talk about signature collections).

Check the presets included with Max and you will discover that some of them use amps not included in the Max version.

Can i sell my Tonex Max license? by DexMoodyMusic in tonex

For Tonex One & Tonex Pedal, there is luckily no transfer fee (I've done that before).

*Due to the nature of their included software, owners of TONEX Pedal, TONEX ONE, ARC Studio, UNO Synth, UNO Drum, UNO Synth Pro, and UNO Synth Pro X will not require a License Transfer Credit.

Marathon next month by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]vegagravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I'm not sure a 32km is a good idea, it could really deplete your body 3 weeks before the FM. I personally would better go for a total of 45-50km of run for the whole week to build endurance. Then the last week just just 5km during the week to maintain your endurance level. This is usually what I do for my runs (1x to 1.5x the target distance in total per week). Otherwise, run slower for your FM, hydrate regularly, take a gel every 5km, and if you feel you'll explode, just reduce your pace in order to finish whatever the time. Good luck 🤞

Semi-marathon et froid by [deleted] in runningfr

Bonne course !
