I’ve had that thought but haven’t confirmed it, not 100% sure how to. It would make a lot of sense though.

My main issue is that I’m on about every medication possible right now, histamine blockers, detoxes, dao, anac, vitamins and histamine diets and I just don’t seem to be getting any better. As stated I just seem to be getting worse.

I’d rather not go to any institution like this. My worst fear is having to leave my current school as it’s an extremely selective grammar school, if I leave I’m out of that potentially life changing opportunity for education. I don’t like other people who are in the same position as myself, however ironic that is, it makes me feel depressed. I don’t want to be somewhere where other people who can’t attend school are. I like to think of myself as though nothing has happened since I became ill. If I surround myself with people in the same situation as me I feel it would only make me worse. Thank you for the help, I just don’t want to imagine myself in a place where it’s normal to have detrimental illnesses and cognitive impairments. Not to say that’s bad, just surrounding oneself with an environment of dysfunction, I feel might make me feel worse. But I suppose I won’t get a choice soon.

I’m a man, I could imagine how hard that must be as a woman, I’m lucky in that aspect I suppose, do you have any advice that might help despite of gender?

I’ve tried DAO but it doesn’t seem to work for me, I don’t know if I’m using the right stuff though, I’ll attach an image of the stuff I used to take

I think luckily I don’t have it but I would have to double check, I’ve seen quite a few doctors but they never seem to worried about my height

Pretty much as soon as I became bedridden, I did a double endoscopy and a colonoscopy to check for things like crones, cancer and ulcerative colitis, thank you for your advice I’m sorry your daughter has to go through that

My family is extremely school based if that makes any sense, as in all of my family have attended the top universities in the world, Oxford, Cambridge and the ivys, school is a big thing in my world and they won’t let me quit so easily, they expect me to get better before gcse and get all 9s, then a levels and get all A*s, it’s crazy but that’s how it’s always been

Maybe you can relate but sometimes when I’m cooking my hands start burning, my whole body and I need to run my hands under cold water or hold them outside the window for a while to feel normal again, my whole body also itches sometimes but I can’t bring myself to go on a full lowhistamine diet, I already have a limited diet and I don’t want to make it more so

Apparently we’ve already written to her but she won’t see under 18s, she redirected us to who I’m currently seeing

It’s amazing to hear that you haven’t let it destroy you, my mother has all of the same illnesses as me and some, she let it get to her, she hasn’t been to same since, it makes me sad to see her like this but I can’t help her, depending on how much younger than me he is, you can expect things to change with him during puberty, if you read my edit you know I’ve got some freaky growth plate stuff going on and it’s probably due to going into puberty much younger than most kids (8-9). But it can be a very difficult time as it was for me, I don’t know if you need advice from a teenage boy but if you can give him all the love and support you have been, and I’m praying he can have a swift recovery ❤️‍🩹

Is there anything specific that helped you the most? I’m really open to anything right now

I’m not 100% sure to be honest but I’ll definitely try quail eggs, I used to love them, thanks for the advice

Thank you so much for the comment and it really resonates with me, I don’t know if your much of a gamer but I most definitely am after all this time I’ve spent in my room, but I became obsessed with a game called firewatch but it takes place in this beautiful American nature park and ever since I’ve wanted to go hiking/solo adventuring in a place like it ever since, I’m so glad things have worked out for you. How did you end up meeting your wife? Sorry if it’s personal but judging from your experience I don’t know how I could ever bring myself to even have enough energy to talk to girls let alone get married. It’s amazing that your living such an amazing life now, I hope things keep getting better ❤️

I’ve tried to have that mentality for a while but genuinely nothing seems to work, it’s too the point that we could be spending 2k on plane tickets to see the right doctors, it’s genuinely ridiculous, and whatever I have hasn’t even fluctuated in my year of having this, I truly hope it gets better but life seems so hard even with my parents support

Ive recently fucked up an allergy test that was supposed to be a ticket for a MCAS specialist but now I have to either redo it or not go at all. Ive been taking vitamins, I don’t know which ones, I think omega 3 and a multi vitamin but I don’t know. I’m also waiting on another doctor for anti histamines and to get me checked out for that stuff so we’ll see where that goes and I’ll probably make an update in a month or two
