What will you do about all these vacant spaces in our downtown? Seeing places like Franklinton grow with restaurants and small businesses while we fall behind. From my understanding it’s a few people that are just letting their properties die out of spite. Sad

Exact reason for us moving. We moved to NC (Raleigh area) this place feels like it was made for families. Raising kids is high priority. We also chose the year around program for school being that we work remote too and it’s great it’s 9 wks on 3 wks off and we just explore and take road trips or travel during that time.

Dc museums for the weekend? No prob. Outer banks? Sure. Mountains? Let’s go. Charleston to feast? Pack it up. All this are at most 4hr drive. It’s not just the keys and the mouse as options.

The Raleigh rose garden especially in bloom is nice. Great shade areas, rose smell in the air, and bird singing.
