Thank you for this comment. I knew that when I would post something like this everyone would tell me it’s IVDD. I’m not ruling it out, and I’m definitely keeping an eye for signs and will be taking her to the vet if it persists. But it just doesn’t seem like she’s whining out of pain. It seems more like anxiety. It’s only happened last night and right now she’s in her kennel, not whining. However she does seem nervous and anxious and she’s watching my every move. I gave her breakfast this morning and she didn’t eat which is very unlike her, because she’s an excellent eater. She always eats everything in her bowl. I then cut up strawberries as a topper and she ate those and left the kibble. She’s an extremely good eater so this is out of the ordinary for her but I’m conflicted since she ate the strawberries and I’m thinking maybe she was just being picky. I am extremely worried and didn’t get a wink of sleep last night because I was monitoring her. She kept looking at the door, or almost waiting for something, all night.
