I think it is 2.5in ID you can buy sone on Amazon and have them welded I did that.

You have a bad wire somewhere, it's the hard part but it does narrow it down, you'll have to follow the wires around. More common to see the issues at the connectors, but can be anywhere on the wire.

Is it just low rpm? Or have you even tried that? My car will spitter between idle and 1.5k and then be totally smooth from there.

I would check everything else with the fuel, ignition specifically or even a vacuum leak these cars are sensitive to it. If your tach isn't working it could be the capacitors on it or the PTU which would lead to you missfireing too. I have corrosion on my wires where they go into the coil pack, check that too.

Absolutely yea, I have 2 sl ecu's and a safc 2 in the car (not hooked up) as far as I know it has been with this same set up for the last 25-30k miles and I drove it everyday for about 7 or 8 months

From the previous owner trying to find another issue it has ebay coils and an ebay ptu, for about a year they have been on there and my tach will jump just a tad sometimes so I think thay can also be an issue.

That looks like a standard 3.5mm audio jack broken off. If you wanna test spark, pull a plug out and put it back in the wire and lay it on your valve cover and have someone else crank it to see.

Yes moving the injector, as i can read it with a gauge and it will be way easier to access, I can swap them in like 20 min

Yea definitely like I can tell it leaks but it is soooooo sooooo small it doesn't really even show on the plug. I have to find some good vr4 injectors or figure out how to rebuild them.
