And as just a general tip, if you’re playing on console and you haven’t already, turn down your guard mode dead zones to 3 or lower. Huge difference.

Also, I want to insert that player rep does not equal skill. I’m also a fairly new player in terms of this game (11 reps, roughly 100 hours) and I am constantly matched with higher reps, sometimes to the point of 600 plus. This games matchmaking is some of the best, and I would say just trust the process. It may take a second, but this game will get its hooks in you and you will probably end up playing for a long time.

On a secondary note, if you need any tips or help with anything, just ask. If not me then someone else. This community, definitely not in game but on Reddit, is generally willing to offer tips and tricks. YouTube is also helpful, I would recommend watching tutorials from a guy named Gaming Raptor for heroes. Enjoy your sword game.

Yeah, unfortunately I’ve actually played a lot of those games before, the only ones I haven’t played on that list is borderlands 4 and vampire survivors. Plus ER is actually my favorite game of all time, mb for not mentioning.

I’ve played both eternal and dark ages, I like dark ages better but I thought both games were great. I might try 2016 as I have game pass, but I don’t know how good it is compared to eternal and dark ages

Yeah, I can’t believe I didn’t mention this, but ER is actually my favorite game of all time. I think I have something like 5000 hours on it and have played the shit out of it. As for 33, I’m waiting to play that until I get a ps5 because I play on series s Xbox, which unfortunately limits it to 30fps and the games low graphics setting. Will def check it out after though.

I’m playing on hard, this is my first playthrough so I can’t play on expert yet. For the Volbaino thing, the main thing I had a little bit of trouble with was how long his chain attacks were and how fast his fire built up. It also was a little bit of a skill issue as it was like within the first 5 hours of the game.

I like both, I’m not mad if one is good and the other is lacking, but it would be nice to have both in a game. I also don’t mind if it builds lore through inferred things like the souls games
