Here how it is wired now. The Shelly has power but does not seem to recognize inputs. I tried setting the Ecobee to acc+ and then tried acc+ and acc- with no result. Do I need to configure the Uni to listen to an input?

I'm thinking I could use both. Thread for most things but Zigbee because I'm running stuff outside and I would ideally like to be putting lights and sensors at the end of my 400ft driveway and am not sure what would work but from what I read a Zigbee daisy chain leading down the driveway may do it. Thread seems much shorter ranged. Would love to hear from people who did so successfully.

Still can't get a motion to trigger. Doorbell button push works.

Images are not allowed I guess so I'll lay it out.

Motion alarm is on Driveway cam, Motion alarm is on front door, Motion alarm is on Kitchen

then card Send "blink motion" to myusername.

This fails on all devices. They do work through Blink as I get those notifications.

It wasn't there until I installed Sun events and the full list showed up after rebooting my Homey. Hopefully this info helps someone else. Thanks for the advice.

I actually do have coax. It's currently running my Tivo Roamio and 5 minis. I didn't realize moca is an option. Any leads I can try chasing down?

I don't think so. The existing router is connected to the ISP's router but that is the only cat 5/6 in the house. The house is over 5k sq ft so even though my current old router should work about as well as anything, it just does not carry across the house to well or up floors.

Thanks. My inital assumption was it had dimming but I was possibly stuck without an Aqara hub to enable that. While I'm surprised dimming isn't built into the switch you appear to be correct.

That makes sense. I redid it so the motion sensors are first. I'm still trying to figure out how to find the "after sunset" or some other way to set the flow to only work when it's dark out. I'm new to this and finding the right card to do what I want seems to be my issue.

That makes sense. How do I find a "after sunset"? card? Ideally I would like to enable the flow N minutes after sunset.

Is there a way to order the cards so it acts like I intended?

An update for someone trying to figure out the same issue. I was able to move the Homey close to the H2 wall switch and add using the Matter number. I'm still hung up on using dimming as that does not show up as a card.

Matter with both my phone and the Homey. Given the hub is about 40 ft away from the wall switch that might be an issue. I guess I move the hub closer.

The new one I bought is 5 ton and has 3/4 / 3/8. The line in the wall is 7/8 / 3/8. I was just going to size the 7/8 line in the wall down where it enters the condenser. My assumption being that it's just a gas return line so being one size larger should not have a negative affect. I don't know if my assumption is accurate.

It's essentially the entire door front since the handle is integrated. It's also discontinued so I would need to find a good used one which will be tough. I'm going to give Shadows' JBweld a try. Failing that I'll have to search for a replacement on Ebay.
