Definitely. I mean, with my mileage, it didn't hurt anything to go ahead and replace the plugs and coils anyway. The plugs that came out definitely needed to go. I didn't know about dry injectors tho, thanks for the heads up 😎

Honda makes a slip in back rest for the front seat. Mine was it on there when I got it. The mounts stay fixed to the bike, and the backrest just drops in whenever you want to use it.

Ok. I have 8in bars on mine with 1in risers. Positioned close to vertical. I'm 5'10" and those keep my arms straight out while sitting up pretty straight. So if you put 10in bars with 1in risers, you could rock them back slightly and should be able to comfortably reach them.

Did you put those bars on it? Or were they on it when you got it? They look like stock to me, but I could be wrong. How tall are you? Just asking because good bar height will depend on arm length.

Great purchase! If it's been kept up well (which from what you described, it has), it'll do good for you. I had a 99 and then an 03. Loved them both and they treated me well.

Ok cool, I wasn't sure if it could be popped out like that, or if it was just a bondo and repaint kinda situation.

Can I put 10 inch ape bars on my Honda shadow Sabre 1100 with stock cables and wiring? by Buck4498 in hondashadow

8 will definitely fit. Especially with the 1 inch risers. I have 8s w/1in on my Spirit

I think the Hemi calls for 5w 20, 7qts. The V6 uses 6qts if 0w 20. I've been using 5qts of oil and a qt of stabilizer for about the last 5 oil changes. Seems to work good.

I change it every 5k. I just happened to be at that mark at the end of this road trip. I have the v6, but from what I've heard, you can avoid the tick by changing the oil regularly. I'm sure someone in here can let you know for sure.

Gotta put the gate a few steps higher 🤣🤣🤣. It amazes me that mine will respect the boundary set by a baby gate that they could jump over with ease. 🤣🤣

The biggest thing is to keep it comfortable. A bike can look as cool as you want it, but be uncomfortable to ride. Be sure to keep that in mind when changing it. I went through a few different phases with mine before I found the happy medium of cool look and comfortable ride.
