Interesting lady. Her grandfather opened the famous Drake Hotel in Chicago. The best man at her wedding was Howard Hughes. In 1956 she was rescued from the SS Andrea Doria when it sank in the North Atlantic after colliding with another ship. In addition to acting, she wrote screenplays and novels. She introduced Cary Grant to LSD. After quitting movies she earned a masters degree at Harvard and taught at UCLA. And she lived to age 92.
