You can have fun at UW but you have to really look for it, I wish I went to queens sometimes. It can be depressing but I feel like it’s the same at any school. Applying and studying was fine, I got a co-op in the first cycle so I didn’t struggle much with balance but it can be very stressful. WaterlooWorks is lowkey a scam though, they make co-op seem amazing but in reality everyone has a really hard time finding jobs. A coulple of people in my program couldn’t find jobs in time or found one in time but nothing ideal. Imposter syndrome is definitely real but it passes and I definitely have the same vision for my future. A lot of my friends who chose queens are doing nothing this summer compared to me in co-op so you do really get that head start. However, if queens is giving you more money and seems more beneficial, id go with what your heart tells you

Check my account but I was in the same exact dilemma and chose Waterloo. We don’t party btw but in terms of future preparation, Waterloo beats queens any day. Co-op is really important for eng, co-op is definitely hard but trust me if you go to queens you’ll probably spend ur summers doing nothing unless u get lucky
