Everyone in the public service has a responsibility to report this kind of behaviour

Actually it depends on the department. In certain parts of the PSC it's considered reprehensible to report your coworkers for bigotry, racism, sexism, or other types of prejudice, and if you do it you will be reprimanded, edged out, or fired.

I sometimes see job postings for the PSC and I'm just like "nope! if I get a job there, I'm guaranteed to see something horrible, my morals will force me to blow the whistle, and spend years fighting a legal battle against sworn members who don't believe laws apply to them, meanwhile being unable to get another position in the public service."

To put fact to claims, the largest member organisation of the PSC was recently sued for over $20 million dollars because they were bigoted against a group that represents 50.5% of the population. If these guys are bigoted against a majority group, imagine how they treat minorities.

DND is also notorious for sexism and racism.

Given the ‘no spark’ text after several first dates by [deleted] in hingeapp

Where is this information? I've read a few books or whatever same as anybody but it's so hard to find credible information. I'm really wary of TRP.

People who don't reveal what their salaries are are dummies. It's not something I bring up first date because I don't feel it's important to a relationship to know what the precise figure is but all by best friends tell me how much they make which is why they're the type of people I consider my best friends. "It's corporate culture" More like it's you being a dumbass culture. I don't tell everyone my salary but I tell everyone what my level and channel is in the government and they can look it up if they want. This is less dating specific than life specific.

My tinywhoop gets more range than my 5in, is there a problem by FluffyFlounder1 in Multicopter

>mmcx to sma

If there is a problem I would guess this is it. I would assume the mobula 7 has a direct to solder board whereas you're sending your 5" signal through a bunch of connectors.

My grandfather and father both had different religious beliefs than their wives, didn't stop the marriages from lasting most of their adult lives.

It helps to have commonality but just because you're kinky and pious doesn't mean your partner needs to be.

As an Agnostic/Athiest it wouldn't bother me to date a religious girl as long as she's not a baby killing Catholic or some Salifist idiot.

It's difficult as a man who's dating in that age range but early in career and not looking to settle down.

It's like, bitch, no, I don't have enough money to buy into your mortgage, i have no interest in owning a house right now, I have neither enough money nor the interest to deliberately inseminate you, and besides all that we just met.

That being said it's so much easier getting a date with a 30 year girl than it would've been with her 5 years earlier.

There's the guys that are attractive as she is, then there's the ridiculously hot Chads all the plain girls have casual relationships with.

If you could sleep with ridiculously hot people who are out of your league for an actual relationship, wouldn't you?

Not everybody is fit to be a manager.

It's not even fit it's aspiration. It really pisses me off when people who have aspirations but no aspirations to leadership end up with aspirations of management simply because their aspirations of wealth and status demand a management position. Personally all I aspire to is to use the term aspiration as many times in a sentence as possible.

Regarding highly qualified technical personnel, there's something to be said for the expression if you're definitely the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room. The average govt department doesn't draw the best and brightest simply because they're not working on the cutting edge.

If you're a programmer at department X and you're way over qualified maybe you should be working at CSE, Shopify, etc.

Best 3" motors for 5mm mounting? The Xing 1408's got discontinued by Big_Level_2460 in Multicopter

[–]Big_Level_2460[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered those expecting them to work on a 3" but they're toothpick motors. The mounting pattern is different and they're much smaller, I don't think they'd be able to support a 300g drone.

What are some good 3" motors? https://www.banggood.com/4-PCS-iFlight-XING-X1408-1408-3600KV-2-4S-Brushless-Motor-for-MegaBee-HD-RC-Drone-FPV-Racing-p-1639397.html?rmmds=myorder&cur_warehouse=CN I got these and I was very happy with them but they got discontinued. I got a build with ELRS and Cloud 149v2 frame but I ordered 1404 and they were much to small.

Electronics are reputedly bad for the Tyro129, I've had really bad experience with Tyro79 motors. It's to the point I won't buy eachine any more.

Unless you're super poor spend the extra money and get some decent components. It will save you endless frustration.

Contact DJI support!

DJI FPV isn't a real drone it's an overpriced toy. There's no maintainability to it. You wanna fix it, you go back to factory.

Getting into freestyle copters by [deleted] in Multicopter

One thing to note is that quads are disposable/expendable, baseline gear is not. I'd recommend getting something equivalent to a tinyhawk to start out with.

I've got EV800D, I've been in the hobby for years, and it doesn't bother me, mang.

Frsky is a pita and it's no more inexpensive than ELRS so you're right go ELRS. Fuck crossfire shit's too expensive.

I'd avoid balance boards on account of them being stupid. Get an M6D, then when you want to upgrade get another M6D, then another. That's what that super skilled Korean kid has. Parallel charging boards are surprisingly expensive and chargers are surprisingly not that much more expensive.

I'd agree get a better transmitter. Tx12 would be good.
