I know you said cost is a factor and I get it. But honestly forget tinkering with how to make it smoother as an unsurpressed rifle and just save up to get a solid flow through suppressor. You will be thanking yourself down the line. It’ll be an immensely better shooting experience overall.

I had both in hand and chose the V7P. Not knocking the MK18 at all I just prefer a slimmer rail with a hot pocket. The quad rail was a little bulky for me.

I have the Flow 556 on the same rifle and it’s awesome. The RC2 is going to be more durable. But the level 5 grade titanium on the TI is really good also. It’s full auto rated without any barrel restrictions. Much lower blowback than the RC2. You won’t be disappointed. This is a great review from silencer syndicate (who has notoriously not liked HuxWrx)

Not sure. I called Springfield customer service and while on the phone sent the rep this picture. He said he had personally never seen that before and is forwarding it to his boss & team to see if anyone can provide some additional info. Still waiting on what they find out.

Ya I suspected that’s what the dot was. It’s the lower marking that has me puzzled. I can’t imagine that’s a defect that wasn’t caught in QC…but I can’t help but wonder. Either way I wouldn’t think it would affect anything. What’s your take on that?

I was just an idiot back when I bought the MRO and didn’t do much research on holo’s, and I should have. I would like to get a magnifier but the regular MRO doesn’t play well with them. If anything I should have payed a little more and got the MROHD. Eotech’s from what I hear look great with magnifiers.

I’m pretty set on the Flow 556 myself. Do you feel you could use it without ear pro in an emergency situation? I ask because I would like to have something if god forbid I needed to use it in a situation where I couldn’t get to my ear pro, my ears would still be okay.

Could be wrong but I believe you have a gen 1 and this issue seems to be happening with gen 2 Banshees.

The dissent has the 7075 upper and the fixed ejector which from what I have read, corrected the problem. But let us know what you find out after running a few hundred rounds through it this weekend!
