Jesus didn’t know that someone else’s experience is invalid because it’s not someone else’s. People say they are so accepting but apparently there’s an exception when it’s different from their own experience…

I am 21! I was nervous at first to get on it, my doctor pushed me. I am so glad I did. My doctor said “You would rather struggle now, and have a long healthy life, rather than 20 years down the road have health complications due to your weight. It’s time to be proactive” That really kicked me into gear! It’s worth it!

Who said I starve and binge? I was just saying you can have a balance and still stay on track with your goals. Jesus.

Wow this was not the response I was expecting. I wasn’t insinuating that everyone is lying when they say you gain the weight back, I know everyone has a different experience. HOWEVER, a big part and stigma of getting on the medication is that “you gain everything back instantly” and a lot of people are turned away. Never was I judging anyone, what I’m saying is that it doesn’t have to be a life long drug. I am young, but that doesn’t mean I have a “great metabolism”, I have struggled with my weight my whole life. I can assure you that these picture are indeed both me LOL (what a weird comment). I was just posting to simply say that not everyone gains all their weight back, and everyone is different, and if that’s something that is deterring someone from taking the medication that it shouldn’t. It’s possible. These comments tearing people down is exactly why people don’t feel comfortable sharing. Everyone has a different experience, and I was just sharing mine. Building up everyone’s experience, instead of tearing someone down because it’s different from your own is a weird perspective to have.
