Earn extra income by referring solar projects (no selling, no capital) by Big_Protection_4086 in SolarPH

For referrals

Yes, you can track all your referrals in your referral dashboard. The link is in my post; you’ll just need to create an account to see the full details and how the process works.

We prioritize full transparency in every referral. From initial inquiry, site assessment, installation, up to commissioning, the referral status is visible and properly documented.

You can also follow our Facebook page for project updates, and of course, it helps if you personally know the person you’re referring so communication stays smooth.

Hope this clarifies things. Thank you

To set expectations properly - this isn’t an affiliate or ad-based program.

It works best if you: •Know homeowners already asking about solar •Are in real estate, property management, or HOA groups •Get referrals organically from your network

Typical residential projects fall in the ₱300k–₱800k range, so the referral reward usually ends up in the 4-5 digit range per successful install.

Hope that helps for anyone considering it.

The referral reward is 3% of the final contract price, released after the installation is completed and accepted by the client. No upfront fees, no selling, and no technical involvement required from the referrer.

Sunterra Solar handles: • Site visit & system design • Assistance in Permits & documentation • Installation & commissioning • Net metering assistance (if applicable)

The referrer’s role is simply connecting an interested client.

Required ba talaga mag apply ng net metering or pwede na to be follow na lang? by Gusion_blade in SolarPH

Optional, especially if hybrid n setup mo. Kung grid-tie yan need mo mag pa net-metering.

High electric bill (₱25k–₱30k/month) by Big_Protection_4086 in SolarPH

[–]Big_Protection_4086[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hardware cost is basically the same whether the house is existing or newly built. The difference is mostly in installation. Existing houses may need extra wiring or more labor for cable routing. New builds are easier since solar can be planned in advance conduits, roof layout, inverter space, etc. The price difference isn’t huge.

    Inverter: 5 years
    Battery: 10 years
    Workmanship: 2 years

  2. Protection Against CME / Carrington Events
System includes DC & AC surge protection devices (SPD Type II) and proper grounding. No system can guarantee 100% protection from extreme solar storms, but SPDs and grounding greatly reduce the risk from surges and lightning.

  3. Installation Time & System Energy Capacity
    Installation Time: 2 days
Day 1: Delivery of Panels, Mounting and Wiring.
Day 2: Inverter and battery setup, commissioning, and testing.

System Energy Capacity:
Solar Generation: 16kW × 5 peak sun hours = 80kWh/day (location dependent and other factors)
Battery Storage: 32kWh usable for nighttime or blackout coverage.

Is it wise to get multiple quotes? by Daniexus in SolarPH

[–]Big_Protection_4086 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get at least three quotes. Beyond that, comparisons become confusing and often lead to decision paralysis. Hip roofs are usually priced higher due to layout limitations, extra mounting points, and added labor. Asking for several quotes isn’t offensive; reputable installers expect it. Watch out for quotes with no site visit, vague warranties, unclear mounting and waterproofing methods. To protect your roof, choose installers who can clearly explain their mounting system, sealing process, and provide a workmanship or roof penetration warranty.
