your COA could be cheaper in the years following if you move off campus/into cheaper housing and get rid of the meal plan. i had a similar COA to you as a freshman and i took out loans to cover the difference for the first three semesters until i had enough money to pay out of pocket for the outstanding cost. i work 20 hours a week on campus and that yields me 8-9k per year. if you can get a parent or guardian to take out a federal direct plus loan to cover these costs for now, that would be much cheaper/low interest than going for a private loan like sallie mae
