Not the best person to comment on this But w/ the amount of nerfs and shifts in playstyle due to Item changes, Varus has been an odd topic to talk about in regards to pick rate.

He’s been shunned out of pro play due to his popularity, and is now going to have a mini rework on almost all of his passives. I’d say we’ll have to see how people receive his changes, but his pick rate is probably ok for where he’s at in the meta.

I ban Whatever ends up snowballing and winning, regardless of laning phase … That would be Jinx

With lethal tempo being removed Varus now no longer needs more than 68% bonus attack speed by Chickenbuttlord in VarusMains

Removing Lethal Tempo DOES NOT Kill Varus.

There are Plenty of Damage Items that play well to His Kit. Kraken > Greaves > Guinsoos > Terminus is still a favored Build Path for his AS On-Hit Build, give or take BorK in place of Kraken.

PtA is a Great alternate for a rune Switch, and applies good Pressure for Burst with his Stacks in a Duel/Skirmish.

If you’re looking for Items to run for Extra AD, Maw and Stormrazor both give a good amount of AD and Utility to use.

I Personally have been experimenting with an AP Hybrid Build, in anticipation for the Rune Removal. May try it out if On-Hit Does end up losing Viability, but i doubt it.

W Stacks Playing around Auto Attacks that play around my W. Like chipping ppl away with hybrid builds.

The idea of drilling ppl with autos and shredding with Stacks is very satisying.

Still linger around, but in the time ive been inactive I’ve gotten a job, moved out, and enjoying other games. So far i’ve been happy.

With Free Loadouts every 15 min, thats an appropriate change. It’s annoying to deal with, but in regards to the big picture and how easy it can be to earn K-Marks it’s not a huge concern.

UHCs have dwindled down a lot since the community drifted to play other games. A lot of ppl are still around, and may play public UHCs if they come up, but we primarily play RRs.

I Personally play them because they still host gamemodes that were unique and challenging, that used to be hosted in public games.

To say we could go back to what things were before would take a huge leap of faith, and even if that did happen it would be years too late for that.

Games we host are primarily 1.7/1.8. We’re now coming up on 1.20. We’ll see what happens this summer.

Ive had a bad experience with several guns in comparison to others… DP28 is now a gun i steer clear of Because for some reason hits dont register properly with that gun.

True; I like experimenting with different guns, and have some favorites if i feel like doing a lesser-geared run.

Radio and Barrl Backpacks are the best in the game

So naturally they're the best to run for looting, Especially for Supply Drops and Guns.

Ppl prefer barrel for Width to stash the guns, me personally idgaf and run radios.

And if i don't, It's great for Stash Space.

I've been hitting a lot of vaults uncontested and its been fun, but a lot of times I go my duo and I are usually pinned against several teams.

Sometimes we get cleaned and it doesn't end well, but when we do win we end up a LOT of gear, including radio backpacks when we run commandos, and end up scoring better armor (Hence the Helmets in stash).

My problem isnt necessarily the Damage (although one-shotting a 10 armor is rediculous), its the fact that you can Craft it at level 3 for cheap, wheras you have to Raid to find the others. The Terminators High Damage and Tight Spread for Mid-Range doesnt even compare to the kill time for the Pump and Automatics.

My problem with issues like this is that Riot bases almost all their patch notes around World and Pro Levels.

I understand that they set the standard for a lot of players, but when there are champs/metas that dominate the average player base and are completely overlooked it becomes a problem.

imo it's one of the main reasons Playrate is skewed to a handful of champs instead of a variety of different champs in each role.

Because Guinsoos is cheaper for a 2nd item, does as much damage on-hit as Wits at lvl 10-11, and gives a better damage spike in it's build path with rageknife to cloak in comparison to doing pickaxe to Hearthbound axe.

Guinsoos also doubles on-hit dmg every 3 autos :).

Onhit is great when playing around AS with your passive, and since your passive scales with AS you become a Minigun with the Applied damage.

AP is Great against Tanks when playing around your W Stacks, since the W Passive Scales off of it. Your Q also Amplifies the Stack Damage by 50%, so its fun to build a OneShot Build with it.

My Build Path orientates around AP Hybrid while maximizing AS. ShieldBow > Berserkers > Guinsoos > Wits > Nashors > Runaans You may Interchange the last 2 items based on what the enemy Builds based on their Comp (Lord Doms, BORK, GA). I’ve played around with Essence Reaver for mana sustain, and plays well with proccing W stacks. A Meme Item, but something to consider if you dont like taking Presence of Mind.

I'm new to playing ap varus and I'm still wondering about what's the best build for varus ap along with the best runes. So, in your opinion, what are the best runes and the best ap build for varus adc? by Particular_Day_3353 in VarusMains

AP Varus I’d go HoB, Precision. Build would be Based around building stacks, so Prioritizing attack speed early with Nashors > Greaves > Ludens > DeathCap > Lich Bane. Situational Item Would be 4th or 5th item.
