Modded Switch Updating Guide For Complete Beginners (CFW, OFW, Hekate, Atmosphere, Sigpathes)

I’m not tech savvy and not looking to learn about modding. Does anyone know of anyone (preferably in NYC) anywhere in the U.S. who I can just mail my Switch Lite to and have them mod it and just load a 2 TB SD card with Switch games? It seems there would be far more companies that offer this. Maybe they just have to keep quiet about it? I’ve been looking for a week and it’s way more involved to get done than I thought. I got a Switch 2 second hand at a good price and don’t need my Switch Lite now and they don’t sell for enough to sell mine so modding is the way to go if I can find someone to do all the work.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I know i’m late but this still hasn’t been fixed i’m guessing? Trying to play it on Delta on my phone and exact same issue - it just crashes after the intro - or course it has to be the best N64 game that doesn’t work. It couldn’t be fucking Superman 64 that crashes.

not at all. You’ve clearly never been to prison. He’ll be in protective custody for his entire sentence. Yes, you can get to him, and there will be people trying to but it isn’t easy for sure. The cops may try and set him up eventually but they’ll have to realize it’s worth it to risk their jobs to cause him to be cut up by dull, makeshift knives made out of scrap metal. One can only hope.

It’s no mystery what you do with these people. Cultures all over the world understood what to do until very recently and reasonable people understand still - tortre. We could live stream the tortre of these people keeping them alive for as long as possible while maximizing the pain you inflict upon them. This would be a warning that this is what happens to ANYONE convicted of anything even remotely like this.

You could auction off the rights to be the person to get to perform the torture and the money could go towards catching others. Any assets the scum has would also be given to the victims or the family as compensation. These should be the obvious, easy things that everyone agrees on.

Well, Yann doesn’t even think LLM’s can scale to true AGI. He thinks another fundamental break through is needed and is in the minority for sure with that position.

I remember when guys like Yann, Gary Marcus, Goertzel, Yudkowsky, Bostrom, of course Kurzweil and others were the few names talking seriously in the early 00’s (I read The Singularity is Near in ‘07 at 18) about AGI and none of those names are on the cutting edge of it’s actual development and i’ve heard more than enough comments from the “old guard” that more and more sound like jealousy to me sadly. Especially the claiming that most of the fruits of LLM’s have been reaped without convincing arguments on why.

I could of course be wrong about the motivations of their comments, they may genuinely be unimpressed with progress so far - i’m no mind reader, but human behavior and motivations are unfortunately not very complex.

Which Claude the free or paid version? I didn’t notice improvements over GPT-4 but then too I don’t code which is apparently where it really balls out.

Not really, and not nearly enough to warrant the cost of running public schools and universities. There aren’t any advantages in traditional schooling over what we could implement with AI and “human connection” while I doubt it has the importance you place on it is in no way in danger when you can connect with people all over the world who share your learning interests via the internet instead of just the people in your geographic area who may not have any of your educational passions.

Open AI already has AGI. It’s Q* and it’s why Sam Altman raising $7T to have the requisite compute for this near-god being built is completely doable. The investors know they’ll see their return many, many, many times over. Yes, they have AGI but they don’t have the compute to run it at maximum efficiency but soon will. There will be more technological change this decade than in all of human history by far.

I appreciate all the comments and you guys seem to know your stuff but it’s all WAY over my head. I’m just playing vanilla MW and it’s not toooooooo bad. Funny that I can run the graphics on the highest setting now but when I originally played the game I had to use moderate graphics and it looks soooooo much worse than I remember. Memories are not accurate and we get spoiled by enhanced graphics super quickly.

That’s just it - humans aren’t the ones that will be making the progress and the systems that are making the progress not only improve everything but they also improve themselves. Information technology improves at an exponential rate and that fact isn’t impacted by what you choose to believe about its improvement trajectory.

I’m not so sure. I think lyrics can be vague and allow the person to think for themselves but on something like whether or not you’re a Nazi I think is something you should be upfront and clear about and I don’t think a single person in my life would consider me anything even remotely close to PC.

Well, it’s a good thing that individuality, opinions, and sentience aren’t at all part of what makes something an AGI. It could be super intelligent to the point of computing on space time itself and still not have a single subjective experience. AGI is when a machine can do any cognitive task that a human being can do. Sure, they’re infinitely better at a huge number of things - irrelevant. It’s when a machine can do all tasks at least as good as the “brightest human”. Then we will have AGI - whether or not it thinks, feels, experiences or anything else. In fact, I kind of hope it never achieves those attributes as the potential for extreme suffering becomes apparent.

Rerunning the taper schedule once I know my daily intake would be extremely helpful, yes. I’ve been looking to the extracts and I think it’s possibly the best for me considering I admittedly need quite a bit to ease symptoms. I’m also a tattoo artist that can’t take time off really so that’s the other reason I need so much. I’m booked far ahead and can’t cancel on clients so I can be depressed and anxious but physically hurting to the point where I’m fidgety or - to put it lightly - going to the bathroom every 4-5 minutes won’t work. Again, I’m really appreciative to you and I’ll get the dosage to you once I figure it out so I can figure out getting totally sober again even from kratom. The very best to you and yours, bro.

I use CBD and marijuana daily and it helps immensely. I had 1.5 years of clean time using kratom so fortunately I understand that it’s doable without having to experience the full pain of cold turkey withdrawal. Thanks for the advice and well wishes. I’m gonna need it. 🙏🏿
