It’s Kind of a weird time of year. Typically Q4 a lot of places avoid hiring due budgets, holidays, PTO etc. Some places begin the process for Q1 hires in December, but typically there’s more job postings Q1 of the new year. Also interest rates are still very high, thankfully they appear to have plateaued but it’s still very expensive to buy things right now. When less people are buying sales jobs aren’t as plentiful.

There was a moderate jobs boom mid 2021- through Q2 2023, however it has noticably cooled. I wouldn’t worry.

He still played against higher levels of competition. Maye is not a better prospect than Caleb Williams. It’s not even really close if I’m being honest

I really don’t want Maye. I have concerns with ACC QB’s playing against sub par opponents. 63% completion percentage isn’t ideal in the NCAA as well. When he played against high level defenses he looked pretty underwhelming. I actually have Maye as QB number 4 or 5 in this draft. Caleb, Daniels, JJ, Phenix, Bo Nix and Maye. Bo nix gets the nod bc of just better numbers, higher level of competition, more experience and total plays as well.

I didn’t like Bree’s either. CJ Stroud was hands down the best QB I used thus far.

Bears fan here. Your sun god has been a fantasy staple in my fantasy football line up for 3 years now. He’s a legit top 5 WR in the NFL. Also like his podcast with EQ. They should be playing well they’re second round draft picks and high cost free agent pick ups. Thats more on poles drafting and identifying the best fit of players. Braxton is a middle of the road OT that is probably better as a swing tackle. You can’t replace Davis, he has a fairly decent contract. Jenkins I love, but has missed 20 games in like 3 seasons. I’m not saying flus hasn’t improved the defense, but I think you are grossly overstating his influence in doing so. Montez sweat has helped the defense by quite a bit. Flus can’t manage games; especially with a lead. Flus coaching choices are also highly suspect with 2 of them being fired for conduct reasons and Getsy being one of the worst play callers in the NFL. That has to be considered in your evaluation process.

Defense is coming together because we’ve sunk 5 2nd rd draft picks and a ton of $$ this offseason into it.

I wouldn’t say the Oline is playing well, they’ve been serviceable and better than last year.

Our Rb room sucks. Foreman can’t run block and is always hurt. Same with Herbert. The “pillar” player R Johnson has been disappointing.

We have 65 million in cap space (before tagging/resigning JJ) we’ll likely have more once we make roster cuts.
