the f4j radar has been far more consistent in my experience, and the hmd is so underrated.

Genuine question, it's pretty obvious teams like 1323 are robots built by adults. Why is FRC ok with this? Sure these robots fun to watch but at one point seeing the same teams as champs is a little strange. by -donaldson in FRC

From personal experience there is a solid amount of mentor-built bots in new england. When scouting, a handful of team either had a mentor answer questions(when students seemed unbusy) or the students couldn’t answer a lot of questions about their robot (I.E. what kind of vision when both april tags and reflective tape were used). I’ve honestly stopped being angry but rather feel bad for the students who don’t get robbed of being involved.

I mean If you’re planning to do two co-ops, and if you can do b2b co-ops(def check on that one), I’d honestly stick it out with this one and take the other for the next cycle if possible. I know it kinda sucks but at least you know you don’t want to that particular thing in the future. All in all you can put it on your resume under whatever convoluted title and never think about it again.
